Poor little one, you're allowed to eat too much chocolate at easter, but its surprising how the breathing thing works, DD even uses it when she cant get to sleep and it does wonders for your lungs.
OH's gone to work now so I think more tea and more Frosties in order seeings as doogie had half the last lot, before I shower and crack on with my list. I feel a good day coming on and the sun is shining here too.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Right have just wasted another hour (apart from emtying WM and TD and reloading again) so I am off to shower and I'm not coming back til my list is finished. Lets see how long it takes - hope to be back by 11

Morning. I have sunshine here too and have been awake since dawn, I'll be glad of the clocks changing next weekend so dawn won't be so early ( That's right isn't it?) then I hope to get some blackout curtains for my bedroom.
Anyhow, I'm off visiting this afternoon and need to make some cakes or something to take but without having to go shopping for stuff I haven't got in. I'll do the kitchen while I'm in there. (edit to say, where else would I do the kitchen from - duh!)
If I pull my finger out I might just get the car cleaned too. People have started pointing as I pass them in the street..the shame..
I meant to say last night, Nicki, sorry you're in upheaval honey, trust me though it's a transition to better things and you'll be proud of yourself when you come out the other side. And Aimee, wow fast mover, hope it goes well!

Morning all, Hugs to all the sickies and poorlies.
Johanne - know how you feel, when i was 36/37 weeks pregnant my husband had a really bad motorbike accident and spent 3 weeks in hospital:eek: Didnt think he was going to make it out for the birth, there was talk of transferring him to an out of town hospital for skin grafts etc. Which would have been fun as i didnt drive at the time. By sheer good luck a plastic surgery team were in our local hospital doing something else and agreed to do his surgery while they were there:D
Feeling a bit sorry for myself, possibly have a small fracture in my hand after game yesterday(we won though), big lump, bruising and pain
Not sure how much flying i'll get done today as going out for the day with my mum and dad. Will try and get it done tonight.
Sorry for the long post, enjoy your day:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Johanne - (hugs) People used to use a drawer for babes to sleep in if you are really stuck? Obviously taken out of the chest of drawers and lined with something. Everything crossed for you - keep away from curry, pineapple, sex, etc!
DS2 has a raging temperature and a horrid cough. He was sick in the night but didn't shout me and held the bucket to do it in - he is only 3.5! I heard the noises and went to see if he was ok. My baby has grown up when I wasn't looking. He is on the sofa with his duvet watching Thomas - much better than when they are smaller and insist on making themselves feel worse by walking around.
Kitchen today then - tbh it isn't too bad as I try and keep on top of it daily. Good point about self cleaning oven Lil Me, mine is but the bottom gets covered in junk so I need to do that. Shame you can't get a self cleaning hob though.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Morning girls. i had an early night last night and i'm rearing to go. i'm doing my own list today, i need to sort out DS stuff to take to his dads for 2 weeks and sort my stuff out for going away.
Johanne- sorry to hear about il's, i hope they start making a speedy recovery soon. the baby won't mind if the nursery isn't decorated for when it comes home or if the house isn't tidy, you just get lots of rest and enjoy putting your feet up while you can!
To do list
washing up.
WM
SC (making a chilli and spagbol for DS to take his dads)
put washing away
get suitcase out
shopping- needs shorts & flip flops
check ebay listing
i'm sure i have than that to doi will have another brew and try and think what it is
Back on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/1400 -

I said the same this morning - since I got one of those bodyclock things to help me wake up in the dark mornings I body is now programmed to wake at dawn. Does mean I get a lot done though - done loads of the kitchen already. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
