juliejim didn't take you long to set it up.
Feeling loads better :j :j :j , have put another load in the WM and TD and put the BM on but yet again the bread is no good. The BM cost 50 pounds and i have never yet got a good loaf out of it:mad: .

Afternoon all.
Did Mr T's this afternoon and :j YAY :j there were more things I buy on offer so I've transferred the savings to the savings account and updated my signature. I now have enough toothpaste and shampoo to last about 6 months and the dog won't go hungry in a long time! One thing I noticed is that Lurpak is back down to £1.00 on the sel - but it's not yellow sticker offered - it's the ordinary white label. Last week, it was £1.29. I wonder if this is either a mistake or it really has dropped in price?
I get to philosophising a bit though and realised I'm fortunate because I'm one of those who actually have a bit of spare money so can cash in on these deals. Those of you who are on really, really tight budgets can't benefit by stocking up ahead.
The only real flying I've done though was giving the fridge a good clean before I put the shopping away.

Vanilla don't give up on the BM, I felt inspired by everyone on here to start baking again. I tried a loaf by hand but burnt the top, the middle not quite cooked. I was then given a Kenwood BM, only tried the fast loaf yet, but it was great. :T I am sure if you post what went wrong the more experienced out there will advise.
I also started making muffins, 3 batches made so far, the raspberry ones are gorgeous, but they don't do much for my diet.0 -

Doodling around on here while waiting for phone call to pick up DS2 and DD who have after school stuff today.
It's been a horrible day weatherwise, rain all day. I drove through so many half flooded bits of road on the way home after school today. I'm half asleep now, rain and grey always makes me feel sleepy!
Doubt very much if my three are going to do anything in their rooms, but I might yell at DD to pick up all the stuff on her floor. I'll wash their bedlinen tomorrow, and whisk the vaccuum round.
Just heard from DD that her trip to India will now leave at 4.30am  on Saturday rather than in the early afternoon - aargh!! At least I'm quite good at waking up in the mornings - but not usually that early. Would the headteacher notice if I just drop her off in my pj's?? Or just leave her there the night before?
sav3r - hugs, tuck up on the sofa and watch some rubbishy chick flick, you need to convalesce.
vanilla - hugs to you to, and I hope you are feeling better very soon.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
