Right - in a better frame of mind now - total sod's law, as i went to put the cats in the car for the cattery, there was a truck on the street, and it was delivering the missing bit of wardrobe, so i then re-rang the fitter, who could still come tuesday, so problem solved almost. So the 2 different people who myself and DH talked to this morning both were speaking rubbish.

Anyway, i've done a bit of retail therapy, and got myself a couple more bits for the new baby as i couldn't resist. I am so bad. Good job it was only at George, or else i would be even more skint - must be more restrained now though apart from things needed for the hospital bag.

List check and lunch with a cuppa i think. It is so miserable out - wet and really cold, so i want to warm up a bit.

If they are able the children can vacuum their own rooms!! 3 is grown up enough!!
While the children are home.. go through their wardrobe and get rid of everything that no longer fits.. as they are being so wonderful and helping they can try the things on so you can be sure before moving them down a child or moving them on.

Afternoon all still pouring with rain here.

Vanilla - hope you feel better soon - I are taking parrots and ibufen interspaced? I find paracetamol with caffine (often called paracetamol plus) works better on headaches than the regular stuff.

Fi glad the party went ok

Hex love the cat in the bag - that so happens here

Re my comment about the order of my kids - I was referring to the deliveries rather than the children - my younger ones are easier than my eldest and always have been.

Right been to the cricket shop and farm shop - shoes ordered. Troussers brought. Flying wise I have hoovered under my bed and that is it.

Kids wanted pancakes for breakfast and homemade soup for lunch so feel I have not ventured far out of the kitchen yet today.

Going out to a friends at four for the afternoon and evening so best get to it if I am going to do anything today.

I've just done a mammoth next order.. I love their sales!! I have kitted out the children for the rest of the year unless they grow madly.. which is unlikely for my bunch!

Best go find me a list and do something!!

Dinner in SC, WM's both been on, TD on, DW needs loading though so I'll nip to the loo then do that and run about doing some S&Sing..

Anyone up for a HHC?? 12:30-1pm...

Give me time to nip to PO.. :D

But.. the sale doesn't start till 5pm tonight! Well it's on the website at 5pm.... Guess who has a date with the PC and :coffee: ?? LOL!

ETA.... Oh... I found it..... ZOMG!!

should really go load TD first...

Ex has text to say he's arrived safely and DD has texted him back but its pending so thats me walking around with her mobile in my pocket all day otherwise she'll keep texting him until he replies  Was worried about him getting there as he rang at 9am to say he was at the services by Liverpool and taking his first break! That means he set off around 7am this morning after not going to bed until 10pm last night (busy talking to me on MSN) I know, I shouldn't be bothered about it but I am but surely I'm allowed to some extent as he is also my best friend and DDs dad? :o

Anyways, DD's cupboard is now empty and has filled my bedroom - time for me to sort things out on my own though. Only 6 boxes (2 of which are clothing), a suitcase of clothing, a large suitcase mostly filled with a huge teddybear and lots of loose bits  Hopefully I should be able to get through it this afternoon without too much interference from DD as she's currently watching "Home on the Range" after helping me empty the cupboard.

Also heard from the CSA and told them what they wanted to know, and asked them not to contact ex until Monday as he's away. Which they've agreed to :D

Right, best go sort out some of this clothing, I want to see if there's anymore just white stuff that can go in on a boil wash with DD's blouses and school socks to try and get them white. I know I don't own anything white except 2 tops which are scruff ones anyway :rotfl:
