MFI are ******** insert own expletives here.

Apparently the missing piece from our wardrobe is in transit, and can possibly arrive anytime between now and the 12th of April, and apparently there is nothing they can do about it. I must be stressed, as it made me have a bit of a cry.

So i got DH to ring them, where they admitted that it has only been dispatched today. So they can't give us a consignment number yet to try and track down when the blooming thing might be delivered.

so i have had to ring the joiner and say MFI are being pants - we will ring you to rearrange the fitting when they have finished being useless.

That is a complete bummer. I want all the rooms sorted before DS finishes nursery on the 18th of April, and the rate it is blooming going we have no chance. Plus i also need to try and work out when the new carpet is going to be fitted, which involves us fully emptying a room again. As if we have all the time in the world and all the energy to go with it in the 5 weeks between now and D day.

Why are big national companies so poo????

Anyway, going to finish off my stressful morning by trying to sneak up on the cats and get them in the cat boxes. I will go for ginger 1st - hes sleeping under the dining table at the minute, the other one is that firmly asleep he will not notice me catching the 1st one - that is the plan anyway. Toilet first though so i can squat without needing tenalady.

vanilla sounds nasty what you have. I am only just feeling better after the fluey/sinusy thing i have had - it only took about 3 weeks. Hope you are better soon.

    Good morning all,

It's wet and grey here too. Has anyone got nice weather like yesterday? I had a real fright when I started reading. The "Thanks" button was missing, and I couldn't post a reply. Then I found I hadn't logged in!:o

I've been busy, but I'll add my update when I've done some more work.

Jill - I love reading, so much so that we have a den full of books! We are lucky that we have some extra space (I have to say all our rooms are fairly small), more rooms than the family needs, so one of the downstairs bedroom has a sofa bed and shelves lining the walls with a few hundred books, DVDs, videos etc and DS has his Playstation and small TV in there because they aren't allowed in his room.

DS is finally up and about, so we might go out to do the town stuff shortly.

I think a :coffee: might be in order. Anyone want to join me?

Michelle can you not ask for one from another store? Goodness that does sound really stressful. I'm a really impatient person too.

Oh and will you all stop saying how little you weigh :( I'm in a strop as I haven't lost anything this week again, I just want that 1lb to naff off so I can have lost 2 stone and be in the 'next stone down'....bah!

Right, washers on full whack, DS2s duvet in now as the horror bot took his pull up off last night and has soaked everything on his bed. Need to get DP up now to go to DS1s appointment so will no doubt catch up with you all this evening. Hope you all have a lovely day :D
One day I might be more organised...........

vanilla - hugs to you. i still feel pretty yack even on day 7 on antibiotics but better than i was. hope you're feeling better soon xx
michelle - glad it's just not me who's lost their memory about dates and stuff though you do have a better excuse than me. maddening about mfi - they can go on the wall of shame along with currys.

    today the in laws are landing at about 2pm so......i need to;

    - have bath and wash hair
    - clean bathroom
    - s/s living room
    - s/s dining room
    - clean kitchen
    - recycle
    - s/s clinic
    - washing load
    - dry 10 mins / hang
    - s/s master bedroom
    - help children s/s their bedrooms
    - pull out bed in ds's room for in laws
    - make their bed
    - set up sofa bed in dd's room for children
    - s/s hall/stairs and landing
    - clean porch
    - take dog and cat to mums for night

think that's it. inlaws are bringing their dogs which don't behave so we're not risking our animals here. it'll also see if there's any chance of our cat getting on with my mum and dad's wild feline creature. so, better get off m butt and start with hair washing. see you later to update xx

Sorry kid, you'll have to help yourself. DS has just said he''ll treat me in town. Coffee jar on top shelf in cupboard over breadmaker, sugar on bottom shelf. Mugs hanging up underneath. Milk in fridge in utility room! Biscuits - if you're lucky, in yellow box on shelf in utility room . Cheers! Oh, and don't give the dogs too many treats.

    Later!

Totally works! I have been 8st 10 for about 6mths now, so not put any back on!

The whole basis is listening to your body and getting back in tune with it:D Eating only when you're hungry!
Stop when full, eat slowly and consciously.

Means you dont feel like you're missing out, there are no 'forbidden' foods, and you actually enjoy what you're eating because you are genuinely hungry.
