If my fourth DS3 was first I would never have had any more. We thought we were so clever, smug too.
Everyone else had babies/toddlers who didn't sleep etc. Our first three slept through from 8 weeks and were little angels. DS3 was the baby/ toddler/child from hell. didn't sleep through the night for 8 years! In and out of hospital for a variety of problems and is still the one causing worry.
I am back to the hospital to see the consultant tomorrow so won't get much flying done but will hopefully get somewhere cheaper than local shops for some groceries.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi all you guys...
I've missed you all this week....I was just thinking I'd join in for tomorrow cause the house could really do with it and I see its children's rooms tomorrow...thats handy cause I was thinking of getting mine to do a spring clean. I'll sort out my list tomorrow and post it..
I hope you are all well and enjoying your holidays and your children...and the cold weather!!:D
I'll catch you all laters....0 -
Evening all

I'm off tomorrow though, so will get stuck in catching up all the jobs for the week otherwise I won't be able to go for my new fish at the weekend!
Soappie - could we organise a coach trip? We could start on one side of the UK and pick up en route till we got to you!
Hugs to anyone in need of one, and I think there are a few of you.

BTW - Can anyone remember me saying about taking DS's girlfriend on holiday etc and that her folks are not brill? There are definitely mental health issues and the mum particularly is not coping at all well with what's happening in her own home. I finally plucked up courage to contact NSPCC for advice who said that there were child protection issues now and have passed it to Social Services. I feel slightly guilty but it had got to the point where she was threatening to hurt herself or run away. She's not well enough for that and DS was saying he'd go with her! They are going away for the weekend leaving at 3.00 am tomorrow morning which will not help her health at all. DS has the same problems and struggles to be up and about by 9.30. I was getting really concerned that the two of them might take off, so am hoping this will get them some help and support to address their problems.
DS has just brought me a :coffee:of hot chocolate, so if anyone wants to join me, the kettle's still hot.

If my fourth DS3 was first I would never have had any more. We thought we were so clever, smug too.
oh yes if middle dd had been the first she would have been an only - I only had third dd to remind me that children can be quite niceMiddle dd has a 3yo son who is soooooo like her - whenever she calls me tearing her hair out I just remember that revenge is sweet
btw pigpen - third dd said "yay" when I told her you were thinking up some special jobs just for her - it's not even the end of the week yet but i thought I'd let you know that she's "not your friend now"
Pink Fairy - don't feel guilty - how many times does stuff turn up on the news and we wonder why "someone" didn't report it. well done you for being that "someone"I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Pigpen and anyone else who uses Huggies pull ups they are half price in Sainsburys

Oh my........Pigpen in Huggies pull ups!!
Haven't had time to read the thread for ages (or post), and first chance I get this is what I read....now off to clean coffee sprayed all over screenPeople Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

I've done the ironing :j spoken to ex and managed to watch Ghost Rider
:j Only taken me 3 hours to get them done  Dishes still need washing but I don't care. They'll still be there in the morning as no-one else is going to do them!
I think I'm going to have to persuade DD to put her 8-9 clothing away for a little bit just until her room is finished being decorated as there is currently 21 things on hangers which I've ironed tonight alone (thats not including non-iron stuff on the maiden still drying and stuff thats dry in the basket!) and I know there is alot more in her wardrobe! Besides which as of Monday she's back in school and will probably slob around in her PJs when she gets in anyway :rotfl: Would make my life easier for the next two weeks anyway
Plan for tomorrow :- Dailies
- Sort DD's bedroom out ready for decorating
- Speak to Dad about getting paint for us on Saturday *mental note - get money out to pay for it*
- Start moving as much as possible out of her room including clearing out the cupboard so I can paint inside there as well (then maybe I will be able to see what I've got in there as well
)
- Relist computer stuff on Freecycle
- Relist Carboot stuff
- Repost request for bedroom accessories for DD
- Email ex's family with birthday gift ideas for DD - she's very specific about what she wants for her bedroom so they can get a couple of the bits
- Watch Batman Begins so I can return DVDs and videos to my family
- Put video recorder away again (got it out to watch some videos borrowed from my brother)
- Prevent DD from spending all her phone credit on texting Ex while he's away this weekend - especially as he'll be on the road for 6 hours (he will take breaks though
)
- Count down to DD going back to school - 8.55am Monday morning
(Not that I don't love her ... but :rotfl::rotfl: )
- Oh and at some point I need to go and withdraw more cash as I've got nothing in my purse again

If you aren't measuring small or anything you could always ask your midwife if you can be induced at say 41 weeks, at least you'd have him around at the start. If you explain youwill have no support at home otherwise they may do it for you. When they discharge you in hospital its one of the things they ask 0 if you have support at home or not. If you don't then some ares provide more visits from midwives, HVs so if you have the support then it costs the NHS less in terms of home visits etc. IYSWIM Don't be afraid to state what you want, its not all as out of your control as you think first time round.
Ooh thanks i didnt know that!! Thing is i live alone so i suppose i wouldnt be lying if i said i wouldnt have the support at home?BUT i know i wont be unsupported as my parents are literally 3 mins away and OH will be spending all spare time he can here so dont wanna make it look like they are unsupportive or ring any alarm bells?!
The issue is more that OH doesnt wanna miss out! He adores kids (hence the nursery nursing qualification!) and really is worried he wont get to see baby - specially the first few days. When he gets back to work he said hes gonna find it hard cos he does 12 hour shifts and mix days and nights anyway so i really dont want him to miss his paternity leave too. Wouldnt be such an issue if we could just sell his house so we can finally live together!! But the state its in and the market being as its gonna take months on the market and maybe even then will go into negative equity!
Managed to do some cleaning today as well as progressing more on the hospital bag.. washed loads of baby clothes and they look sooooo cute all lined up on the maiden!
Made some progress on my list but will still have to catch up tomorrow!

NSDs: 3
Walk to school: 2/47
Bloater challenge: £0/0lbs0 -
Thanks JillD
The weight will go once we can get into a routine with meals again, a week of chaos while I was phoning people and everything else when ex moved out so suddenly, then 2 weeks school hols (and 2 nights of take away as a treat to try and cheer me up while DD was away) have been the reason for no weight loss. BUT Monday I'm starting my HHE challenge with Davina again (:eek::eek:), so if someone could just book me a bed in the local hospital for Monday night Johanne can add that to the rounds as I'll be needing it :rotfl: Right, it really is bedtime now
