Off to grab :coffee: and a bin bag. I am de-junking.
Giving kids cereal for dinner. Past two days they have not touched the dinners I have given them (pork chops then home made lasange) and tonight if I see them wasting more food again I think I may just be Very Upset. Not even the promise of ice cream for boys who eat up dinner is working. They are still choked with cold. Plus I have more time to do my room.
Asked about DS2's finger. It's common with Hemi. So not to worry too much if he is using the hand, which he is. Though we will probably try him with a thumb splint again.
Oh... have I enough milk for cereal....

Hi everyone
Having a quiet afternoon. Took kids bowling this morning to meet with school friends and school mums. Nice to catch up with everyone! Not so good for flying though!
DS was very clingy when we were out and since we've come home he's fallen asleep on sofa. That's not like him AT ALL. DD1 was poorly last week so hope he hasn't caught it too. He's usually rushing around like a whirlwind annoying his sisters. Maybe he just needs a rest - hope so.
Right - plans for later...
try to find desk to clean it (could be a while!!) Then ironing and telly watching for Ashes to Ashes. Tomorrow's plan is to keep going with the office until I can see the floor! Too embarassed (and too stupid) to post piccies but brownies honour I will get it done!
Hugs to all in need!

Well, my bedroom is the best it's been for a while and at that it's still minging.
Being truthfull it needs decorating and all those horrid built in cupboards ripped out.
Still it's tidier.
Kids had cereal, are now being PITA's. I wanted to wash my car today but someone has been parked on the back bit all day. It's emergency access to teh back of teh houses in case of fire so we are not allowed to use it to park on. It's access only. We all wash our cars there as it's at the back of the houses. Anyway, I can go out with a bag and the dust dog (I love this thing BTW) and give it a clean inside then wash it tomorrow or later tonight if it stays light. Will get DH to reverse it up too as I am not so good at that bit :rotfl:
Plus I am very very short tempered at the moment. No idea why. So eating a banannanannannananna and having some water.0 -
Hi everyone,:hello: :hello:
I haven't posted for a few days. Trying to catch up with the thread.
We had a weekend away at Easter. Thanks to someone on MSE we found a cheap Travelodge deal, don't know who it was but thanks anyway. :T
We went to Blue Planet Aqauarium, Ellesmere and to Liverpool, and picture this; we went on the beach in fleeces, big coats, hats, gloves and wellies, what a sight, but we had a great 2 days. :j
Since getting back i have had non stop toothache, managed to get in at dentist today. I need to go back tomorrow for emergency root canal treatment and will need to have it crowned. I am a real coward when it comes to pain, so dreading it.
On a flying note, I am afraid not a list has been tackled, washing and ironing done, kitchen and bathroom s&s only. Will get into routine after tomorrow.0 -
quick one as I am just about to go out to WW (wish me luck .... and where are all today's weigh-in-ers then ?????
When I had DD (DS was 18 months) and then DD2 (DS was just turned 4 and DD 2 1/2) I'd have loved to stay in an extra night or two and avoid the chaos at home. Both times it was back to straight into getting stuff ready for the older ones, sorting tantrums, preparing lunch for everyone, doing the washing, borken nights of sleep from the older ones as well as the newborn (or in middle one's case just sleepless nights from the older one, he was dreadful sleeper at 18months she as a newborn was fab).
A totally differnt scenario to first time around. No catching up on sleep in the day or lying in with baby in bed in the morning or lounging around in jammies all day, with no.3 had to be up and about for school run by about day 3
So yeah, give me an extra night of someone bringing me food in bed please!Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Evening ladies,
Not much flying done, though I have stripped my bed and washed the sheets - need to remake it before I go to bed! And S&S's everywhere and kept it tidy.
Work work has taken up most of the day and has been a little tricky but I've done what I needed to. I was all prepared for the community meeting but then it was cancelled at the v. last moment (don't you just hate that?)
Have just posted the meal I prototyped the other evening for the 'show Jamie a thing or two' thread. Do let me know what you think - I was quite proud of myself and it was tasty.
Hugs to those who need them. Love the pics - Hex and AnW

Hey lovelies,
Firstly thanks for all the 'how to chill' suggestions! I'm less fraught than I was last night when I posted. Rach and Mudbath a massage is a fab idea and don't know why I didn't realise I need one; I've had pins and needles up my neck for about 3 weeks, going to book one for my day off on Tuesday (I have too much flexitime and will get in trouble). Michelle and Dusty, I used to be a devourer of books but haven't read for ages, I've done book swaps since I stopped spending money but they're often hit and miss. That's a second on my list to look forward to, second hand bookshopping at the weekend I think. Plus I'm desparate for light evenings so I can get lost in the gardening. Butterflies, I'm so un-crafty it's not true but the visualisation thing is something I'll try! Thanks again all :T
I'm still flying at the back, a day behind those sticking to the list so I'll budge myself in a mo and sort my bedroom. Tea to find and make and swap dry washing for wet round the radiators. Ashes to ashes (last one?) is the treat for my good behaviour this evening.
Tracyg, go see your GP,Ducks; hope you're feeling more like yourself soon. Hugs and hurrahs to all who need them.
