where does the time go
Since last post almost two hours ago I have
- had a quick shower sfter the HHE
- collected DD1 from preschool
- done lunch for DD1
- fed lunch to LO - today it was broccoli and peas in cheese sauce whizzed up with mashed potato mixed in - looked VERY green and tasted scrummy! It was supposed to be fish pie but I had no fish LOL So the frozen portions are labelled fishless pie :rotfl:
- put washing on line - hope it doesn't rain
- washed 2 bottles
That's about it! How come that took 2 hours
Am going to do a bit of filing now and then the plan is to play yes PLAY with DD1 for a bit before we head out to collect DS from school

vanilla - that's awful. it does make you worry about where you go.
embb - it is a bit of a life change but it's only for a year and it would probably be quite close to where my sister lives so i'd get to see her a bit which would be really good. i'd be sad about finishing my business and i think you need different qualifications over there so i wouldn't be able to do the same work. saying that, i could start my business back up when i get back so that's not the end of the world. it's not a definite yet but i'm going to blitz the house room by room and get rid of a lot. at least that way i get rid of junk regardless.
right, off to start chucking dd's things away - did i say chucking? i meant tidying up of course!!!!0 -
Does everyone mind if I post before and after pictures of hotspots this week? The idea is it will make me deal with some of the long term tidying. I am fine on most of the day to day things, but there are a few areas that remain an issue.
Picture number one:
This is the top landing aka general dumping ground for things that have been cleared out of other messes.
I will put another one up this evening if that is ok? I will not just relocate stuff, I will actually find a home for it - and if all else fails I will boogie it. I just need to motivate myself to get on.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
vanilla - that is terrible. These things send shock waves through communities, always worse if you know someone who is affected.
mudbath - green with envy, I would love to have a year anywhere, although New Zealand would be top of the list.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

DD2 still not so good though - her temp on sunday night was 39.8!!! Had her sat on our bed at midnight in nothing but a nappy with the windows open trying to cool her down. She's a bit better now and not got so much of a temperature but now her left eye has started going gunky.
Best get on with Chicken & bacon pie (& veggie version for me & the girls) for tea.0 -

Finding it really hard to get motivated today. Feel really cold so keep adding another jumper. Finally mopped the floors so need to update my list and see what I should be doing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Hi everyone..
the flylady list looks great, though I don't think I'll be joining in this week. We've been doing the garden, building frames for raised beds and clearing the grass where we are going to put them. Then we need to put some seeds in trays and I need to sort out top soil.
Its hard work but everyone has been involved. DH is working tomorrow, though, so I may be able to get back to normal then...
I have to get the children to give their rooms a good spring clean and I've got to do some ebay listing....
I may keep popping in to see how you are all going and who knows I may get some of the lists done!!0 -
