Morning all (just, well it was when I started this!) Didn't do any flying yesterday (didn't even make the beds :o ) but ended up going to bed at 7.20 last night as I was having such a bad day with DD  So today I'm tackling yesterday and todays list but I'm not going to get DD to do the kids list as she is going to do some stuff in her bedroom on a timer ;) If she wants it decorating for her birthday (boy I love Freecycle for decor stuff!:D ) so that she has a "groovy" and "cool" bedroom (why is everything good cool all of a sudden? ) then she can have a sort out and "strip" the room as in posters off the wall etc. ;) She will earn this new bedroom if I have to stand over her while she does the jobs! :rotfl:

Ebay challenge is pending ATM as turbolister is throwing a wobbler  Will have a proper look later when DD has gone to bed. So that can come off my list for now...

    Dailies :
    • Beds
    • Bathroom S&S
    • [strike]Kitchen S&S[/strike] - cleaning it anyway :p
    • Laundry (put the dry non-iron stuff away) No washing :D
    • Ironing - tonight while watching something on the TV or maybe later while watching a DVD with DD.
    • Lunch
    • Evening meal
    Killer Kitchen - Monday
    Level One
    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and Mop the floor
Wipe the cupboards, appliances and all those manky corners!!
    Level Three
Wipe over all those small appliances.. don't forget the inside of the microwave!
Wipe out the gicky parts of the fridge
    Extras
    • Clean oven/hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*
    • Clean windows and sills
    • Go play a game with the children who have helped you today!!
    Childrens list.
    1. Clear and wipe the table
    2. If you are a bigger little person could you wipe over the fronts of the kitchen cupboards and fridge/freezer/washing machine.. sometimes you need to check the insides too as they get a bit sticky..
Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
    Level One
remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
    Level Two
    Vacuum floors and sofas
[strike]Sort that under stair cupboard.. make sure evrything is in tidily rather than thrown from a great distance![/strike] - Still tidy from last weeks big sort :D
    Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
    Level Three
Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
    Clear a hotspot
    Vacuum hall and stairs
    Extras
    • Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs
    • Wipe front door.. inside and out!
    • I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!
    Childrens list.
    1. [strike]Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear![/strike] - all under the stairs anyway neatly now after last weeks sort :D
    2. [strike]Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)[/strike]
    3. Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes
    4. [strike]Water any plants in the house.. I always forget so this is my childrens job usually.[/strike]
    5. If you are a bigger little person could you vacuum the floors once they are clear of stuff?
Right, off to do some work I think, but first I need to defrost a little bit (and will give DD another hot drink) while I check bank etc!

BTW - Johanne is out at the midwife ATM, so she might not have had a chance to get her bag ready :p Oh, and believe me, our Dad clearing up and getting stuck in with the jobs definitely deserves :T:j:T :rotfl::rotfl: Girlpower is working ;):rotfl::rotfl:

Juliejim - When my DD had problems eating (gastro enteritis? ) the doctor told me to give her ANYTHING she would eat/drink, even if it was sweets and lemonade! So DD ended up living on jelly and cordial for about a month and each day she would try something new even if it was only 1 bite until she could manage to keep something down. Mind you she was sick for about 4 months in the end and still can't have powdered soup or cold meat thats been open too long

    [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] - oops afternoon

First chance I've had to get on here since last night as OH has been sat here and only just gone up to get dressed. It was a surprise him being home as I thought he was working days but apparently has an additional rest day to make their hours right  .

Last back on page 9, so my apologies for not responding with oohs ahs and hugs as appropriate, but I have 9 - 13 to catch up on yet and need to print of todays list before OH come down and wants computer back.

Have so far stripped both living room sofas and am washing all the covers/cushion covers as they were minging. Have meal planned to end of the week, got pastry out of the freezer to make pies in my newly found pie magic - summer fruits with custard I think :rotfl: , oh and Ive nagged DD to get dressed several times. She has just been playing outside (in her PJ's) with the snow that I made her remove from the second freezer as I couldnt get my meat out for a drawer full of the stuff

List to do so bye for now
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

She's helping whether she likes it or not :rotfl: She's chosen (with some encouragement) magnolia walls (rented house so really need to get rid of the bright pink walls and hearts before we eventually move anyway  ) and then finishing touches are shades of pink and purple (now she's saying blue as well  ) but we're going to make it a "portable" room so when we do move eventually it can all be put in a box and moved so her new bedroom will be just like her current one ;):D So nothing painted on the walls, lots of posters instead, rugs, and cushions etc. Her birthday is the 5th April so she has just this week to sort her room while she's off then next week I'll paint it as I'm not replacing the carpet in there! :rotfl:

Right, first 15 minute stint in there now

Studying, grrr, thought I'd cracked it but then when I did the sums it's wrong on one side, ar*e!

DPs on his way home, double grrr but he might know where I have gone wrong, if I dare ask him, as if it's a silly mistake he laughs at me :(

I bet she'll help without harrassment.. ;).. we have a race for the first decorated room at stake here.. she can't lose!!
