pigpen it's your fault i painted the bannisters coz i was thinking he wasn't doing it all quick enough. i mean...why can't OH paint the whole house in three hours. so i did the bannisters with my right hand even though i'm left handed coz i new you'd shout at me. so now i'm wheezing coz of the gloss paint fumes and my right hand hurts coz i've used it too much but i am laughing at myself at the state i'm in. i may be a wreck but i'm not down!

Painting was NOT on the list!!!

Mine can't paint the whole house in 3 hours either.. must be a man thing!!! Useless creatures!

"quick" update.... been in to see the IL's in hospital this afternoon.. MIL is getting surgery tomorrow on her wrist! Turns out its a nasty break so they are putting a metal plate into it asap! So fingers crossed (ours not hers.. she cant do that! :rotfl: :o ) everything goes ok with the surgery... FIL is hoping to see a doctor tomorrow to find out whats wrong with him and hopefully come off this stomach pump/drip machine hes been on for days :(

Just got home from my mums.. had a nice buffet tea there and saw nicki and her DD. Saw SIL and her 3 kids at the hospital so seen whole family today - albeit some in strange circumstances! :) :rotfl:

My dad DID clean the kitchen after himself!!! :D:D:D Cant tell hes been plastering (apart from its been done obv! ) or that he put a new door surround on too..! Quite impressed as i was expecting to come home to a building site! He EVEN washed his tea cup out and the one id left on the side when shooting out to go the hospital! Must be something up with him! lol He also put up the picture rail in the nursery while he had time! Im really shocked.... maybe he realising i could pop at any point and is getting scared?! :rotfl:

Got midwife appointment tomorrow, hopefully get into town to finish hospital bagand buy some raspberry leaf tea capsules, also need to go the supermarket and bank and then off to visit ILs in hospital for evening visit so another busy day!

johanne - i'll keep my fingers crossed that the op goes well tomorrow. hope that she's as comfortable as she can be. has she broken her elbow on the same arm as her broken wrist or is it both arms. thinking of you too...look after yourself xx

Its both arms! Her right wrist is broken and her left elbow (plus maybe a dislocated shoulder!) She cant do anything as her wrist is in plaster and her elbow in a collar and sling... she cant even pick up a cup to drink... OH had to hold a cup to her mouth before for her to get a sip of water. She cant dress herself or anything else... !

I got it wrong last night apparently too.. she had previously broken her left wrist and had that pinned (hence why it didnt break - her elbow took the break instead!) so she will now have metal pins in one wrist and as of tomorrow a metal plate in the other!

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
