((hugs)) to everyone having a rough time, hope all poorly flyladies, kiddiwinks and oh ok OH's as well fel better soon.

Really frustrating day, we got some money for Xmas from M&D to buy DVD players for the car for the kids. So far we've had two we've had to send back for various reasons so today DH dragged me and kids round 6 yes 6 shops looking at them. Poor kids were so bored but were really good the whole time. We still didnt get any so DH in a foul mood and we got home to a still wet load in the TD - I took it apart (not DH he is rubbish and wouldve just straight off boght a new one) and found the belt has broken, so I ordered a new one online for a tenner inc postage. Gzot to brave myself now to take it apart to fix it, wish my Dad was local he'd do it in a jiffy.
DH has now decided on a in car DVD thing to buy online now and went to get his credit card to pay - he's lost it. Thinks he left it in Halfords when he got a refund on the last one we took back. So now he's in even worse form.
He says he is tired from 4 days of getting up with the kids . LOL Most weeks I do 5 of them (and those on their own of course do 7 every week. Hes such a wimp LOL)

On the plus I have been very good food wise despite not eating lunch til 4pm cos of the shoppng fiasco (we gave kids McDonalds and I didnt even have a single chip:D )
    B: fruit and fibre
L: soup, ryvita and hummous, yoghurt
    S: pear
    D: veg lasagne and sweetcorn
    S: banana and yoghurt

Dusty - whats the body clock thing???? I need all the help I can get to get up in the morning.

gunsandbanjos - dont think my DH even knows where the iron lives.....

shell - weigh in day whenever you like, lots doing wednesday, I am doing Thursday as thats when I go to WW, so I will post the grand updated list when I get back Thurs evening. I try to catch up all posts every day so just post your los for that week whatever your day is. IYSWIM. Well done on the theory test :T

lil_me thanks for the links :)

johanne - I second serena's tip on taking grub for the ward, I scoffed loads of Tracker bars in the night (was convinced rustling would wake everyone else but was soooooo hungry I had to eat).
Take a bottle of water and some lip salve too, it gets v warm and dry in there.
I expect you to come on here tomorroe night and have a bag sorted. Not enything in it necessarily but at least set the bag out. That way you can drop stuff in as you think of it.

Kitchens spangly, well ish, the dogs have just mankied the floor after running in and out all evening, they're reluctant to go out because the sprinkling of snow has 'stuck'.

:jBut that isn't the important bit, the important bit is I got DS1 (who has serious food phobias, ASD definately plays a part in) to try lasagne which he seemed to like but of course didn't eat too much of it which he never does with a new food at first, he was more struggling with spoon/fork I think, something he decided he couldn't pick up with his hands. He also tried apple crumble with fresh cream which he really enjoyed. Close to tears I was, it's such a struggle getting him to eat new things.

Boo boo is my picture frame which has the picture in I got in Paris is broken, because we still haven't put it up on the wall :o it's been in ever bedroom we've had but never got round to putting it up here, kids knocked it which cracked it slightly then I kicked it by accident breaking more, then Megan when I was faffing trying to deal with it stood on it. So it's very broken now. I suppose I've always wanted a nicer frame for it, shows how skint we were because it's only ever been in a cheapy clip frame, but it's part of the memories and I love it. Will have to get one now. I've bagged the glass frame for now because it won't fit in the bin, will put it in as soon as they are emptied tomorrow.
johanne, been thinking of you, hope the surgery goes ok and must say big :T for your Dad, what a star!

Right anyway, put ALL the dry laundry away, every last little bit. Remade both the boys beds again (knew I'd shot myself when I told the nurse bed wetting had decreased!!!) bagged some junk up in my room, cleared some empties etc from bathroom and emptied the upstairs bins. Uniforms are all out ready, DSs packed lunch made, tomorrows dinner defrosting in fridge, dogs been out (and ran back in) washer emptied and on airers, so think I am done! Oh and DP didn't go to work, generally slobbed around and hogged the TV/laptop, barely spoken to me, oh he did put a sheet on one of the beds, now gone to bed leaving a right mess....pleased he's going to work during the day tomorrow as he's getting right on my nerves.

Night night everyone!! I'll hopefully pop in tomorrow, will be studying most of the day unfortunately :( must get my head round this assignment.
One day I might be more organised...........

Did have guests staying until this morning, and I was working Sat/Sunday so it my first day off...and those eggs needed to be eaten...isn't the law or something that you MUST eat all your easter chocolate by tonight????:rotfl:

right im in and seeing as i was on anti fly-ladies thread i must must must try harder although i did have a major clean through today and nowb my kitchen, frontroom and bathroom are clean yeah me. However i doubt it will stay like this for more than an hour in the morning when lo gets up and i might try and persuade her to help clean however she is only 2 but very gd with a duster lol and is more than happy to run round with her mini toy hoover that actually picks up :D what a great toy that is. Does anyone think she is too young to try and wash up her own plastic plate??? i know it sounds like im expecting alot but she always wants to help which im happy for her to do as i had to as a kid.

  • Hey everyone,

Well kitchen is still looking as good as it did this time yesterday - which is pretty amazing since as well as breakfast/lunch/supper I have been batch cooking... just waiting for the bolagnaise sauce to cool a little before I portion it up.

Managed to get my brain into gear and sort out a meal plan and .com order... washing almost up to date (we had to plumb in the WM on Friday) although we left TD in the dining room until the lino in the utility is sorted - so the WM is moving more than it might normally *groans*

After the kids had gone to bed DH made me go up and do some work in the garage ( since I was making marmalde for him; I was not a happy camper kitchen warm - garage, well it was snowing outside) I just started chucking stuff in the boot of his car to go in a skip tomorrow. I am getting so much better at flinging stuff :rotfl: I am going to be so annoyed if the mice(I have to add - tiny field mice) can scale this lot of shelving - although tbh if it was a choice between house and garage they can have the garage...

    shell - well done :T

johanne - Have you thought about arnica tables for your hospital bag? :T for your dad and one less thing for you to worry about. Sending + thoughs your mil's way for today.

pretz - hi :D I am sure your lo would love to wash her own plate - do you have a painting apron? or I used to find it easier just to remove lo's top before they started :rotfl: dd2 is the same as soon as she see the hoover out she is off upstairs to get hers - lol she just doesn't get the "can you put your toys away (in your room) please?" what she hears is "please dump all your toys over the thereshold to your bedroom" :rotfl: and she gets away with it every time :o

vanilla - I hope you feel a bit better today.

ok better go finish my list of things I forgot to do today, and turn the DW on, catch you all later x

    Morning all,

Nice and bright here this morning though just a tad chilly. Will do flying tonight when I get home from work. I'll have to try and pre-empt PP for the next couple of days. I have community meetings both Weds and Thurs evenings until 7pm so there won't be much time to do flying - and as they are being held here at my home, the place needs to be up together.

 ORF ops - Buster is now awake and, I believe, accessible remotely

I think the children who have been most helpful today should decide what you are having for dinner.. and that doesn't mean a takeaway.. we will consider that for the weekend if you are doing a fabulous job!!! Maybe if they are big enough they can help or better still cook for you!!
    Childrens list.
Sort out all the shoes.. make sure there are 2 of them all and put them nicely on the shelf or in the box. Encourage the person who has the most to get rid of a few pairs they never wear!
[STRIKE]Oh.. I think you'll like this.. everyone gets a carrier bag.. and spends 5 mintues running all over the house putting rubbish in it.. not other peoples things just rubbish, scrappy papers, junk mail, used envelopes and things like that.. after 5 minutes we weigh all the bags and see who has the heaviest bag. The winner gets a treat (and so does everyone else!)[/STRIKE]Didn't go to plan as he was watching TV!! Has tidied the kitchen with me so can't complain.
Pick up all your own things from the front room and put them away in their homes

If you are a bigger little person could you vacuum the floors once they are clear of stuff?
