Well, I'm not hard up, but nevertheless I would have stuck out for my half price eggs!
  • Funniest thing I have seen is a crowd of oaps at my then local bus stop, climb and run over a mountain of road chips(left by workmen), to claim their right to get on the bus first despite being at the back of queue. Most of them had walking sticks!!lol! Actually last summer in mr T when rude middle aged man screamed and shouted abuse at me into my face, object to my DD having tantrum in shop. Security stood and watched close by. Did go back and report to the manager. He mumbled something about checking with cashier if it actually happened!!! Try not to let sad miserable people upset you as your the better person. Take care.

  • Here are some of my friend's stock replies, which you are free to commit to memory for when you need them:
    • Lovey, my period's about to start, so I want to get home as much as you want me to. I think you'd prefer me shouting there rather than shouting here.
    • If you're in such a rush, bigger fool you for not coming out earlier then.
    • This is fast for me. Usually, I'm reaaaallllyyyyyy slowwww. Watch.
    • Do I think you've got all day? Would you like me to answer that before I finish here or afterwards?
    • As you've got the mouth to moan at me, how about you use it to get your husband to do the shopping in future?
    • Sure, I can go quicker. Would you like to hold the baby with his wet nappy for me? No, I didn't think so.
    • You think it's awful having a slowcoach in front of you. Well, you should try it with a whinging cow behind you.
    • Did you take those bad manners to war with you, or did you pick them up on the front line?

C as C - Before I left my ex (maybe it was him in the queue behind you???) I wouldn't have said anything but now that I'm my own person with the right to my own opinions, I would have asked him to repeat what he said, then said "pardon, didn't quite hear you, please repeat it". After the third time, he would have exploded. It's a great tactic to use with that kind of person.
BTW just be thankful you don't live with him. He's a loser.

Why should you feel insecure. Even people with so called 'loads a maney' go bankrupt and have debts - it's a state of mind.

I wouldn't have taken the £2.50 but by god I would have taken an eternity to finish being served. After another 15 min I would have said Your rudeness as cost you time and saved me money, thank you and good bye. And my head would have been as proud as a peacocks and struted like John Travolta in Saturday night fevour as I walked away.

I do however pick up money off the floor or change that people have left; I kiss it and say now i'm better off by ?p and ?p times 2 better off than the person who's lost it! Again it's a state of mind.

  • I would have offered him the carpark. Then again it wouldn't have happened to me as he wouldn't attempt to pick on a guy. He is obviously a very small man who is an ignorant bully. Try not to let it upset you, you did nothing wrong. The world is full of w*****s.
