Or given it back to the guy and told him to save up for a new personality.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Sorry that jerk made you feel like that cheapaschips. Don't feel bad about it, this person obviously has nothing better to do that act all insulting and rude.
I tend to go slow if someone in the queue behind me starts tutting. I take ages putting my shopping in the trolley and then putting my receipt in my purse, then my purse in my bag then my bag on my arm and then I've got to find my keys!!!!!!
Don't worry hun, your a better person that he'll ever be x0 -
Poor you. What an idiot. I would have been tempted to pay in 1p pieces after that!
Paying the right price has nothing to do with debt or the lack thereof, surely everyone wants to pay the correct amount and not be under or over charged? He was a twit for making you feel like you were in the wrong. I hope the cashier over-charged him after you left

Oh & one more thing Cheaps.
You are not cheap.
He is just bl00dy rude.
Think to yourself........
Would he have said it to you if you were a guy???
Probably not, little man syndrome!!!
I would have asked him if it made him feel powerful picking on ladies? Did it make him feel big?
You should have said my husbands outside, hes the 6.4 bloke waiting by the front door, would you like to discuss it with him.
I bet he would have tiddled in his little baggies & slunk out of there.
OhHHHHH let me at him....0 -
Some people are just horrible because they can be, but don't let them stop you getting your bargains. I had some money left on an Asda gift card, & after the woman rang my items I couldn't get the blessed thing out of my purse because there was still a bit of the gluey stuff on the back of it. A woman started huffing & puffing at having to wait an extra few seconds, then sarcastically said "Can you hurry up? I am in a rush, you know". I turned round & told her that Asda's open 24 hours a day most of the week, so next time she was planning a shop she should either come at a different time or take more time to get ready before leaving the house, then she wouldn't leave her manners behind. Then I moved even slower.
Another woman once told me that, if she'd known I was going to take so long, she'd have gone back for some more shopping. I told her that if she was going back, could she pick up a bag of sugar for me as I'd forgotten to get one, & said I'd still be there when she got back. That shut her up.
You're entitled to use whatever discounts you can, & there's no reason to pay a higher price at the till just because someone else can't be a bit patient. I'm quick with the replies, so rude people don't usually get the better of me, but even if you're shaking inside, stare them out & just do what you've got to do.

if you ever catch me looking at you it's not because I'm growling at you for going slow, more that I'm thinking "thank god that's not me anymore!"Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I'd have taken the money too. Anything that saves me money on my shop is alright by me.InTheBrownStuff wrote: »Maybe for future reference if you do meet any clowns like this again that try shoving money in your face......
Take the money, say thank you, and wait for the price to be clarified anyway:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
