A question for this dunce..gawd!!

How do i programme the Dialler? it has instructions but i'm confused..

Do i dial My phone number then the 18866 code? so for example if my number was..1234567 i dial...123456718866 is that right?

    Is it the v2 dialler?

    If so

BT Customers Access Code (e.g. 18866)
    • Lift the handset, the small red LED on the V2 Dialler will come on.(dimly)
    • Dial * * # 0 0 0 * 1 8 8 6 6 * 5
    • Replace the handset.
    • Lift the handset
    • Press the Redial Button and listen for all the digits to dial through.
    • Replace the handset
If at any time you want to change the Access Code to another provider simply repeat the above replacing 18866 with the new Access Code in the same position in the sequence.

Yeah but if the V2 has already got 18866 programmed in it, then i need not do anything..I don't understand the **# bits of it..
  • those **# bits are to tell the dialler your local area code Kim, it can't just guess it, unless it can
