rachelja wrote:Let's hope so!! Will go tomorrow and check. sent her a quick email back to ask too. Nothing to lose, don't even know if it was an address you could reply to though. Your order sounds like a bit of a botch job, hope the points you get cover the wasted products.
They are resending the items - which should be interesting as they are out of stock on their website and none of my local stores seem to sell them......
Oh well I will wait and see........0 -
Interesting idea. Don't think I would have the bottle!!! Wonder if anyone has tried it. Does it have to be faulty to be returned? I suppose if you were really cheeky you could spend the points so they couldn't deduct them? When returning something to Boots ages ago they did take my card and deduct points. but I'm talking 10 years ago (showing my age!)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Just returned from Boots and spent my last 4 remaining £5 skin vouchers. 2 x Botanic weekend packs £6 each - £5 voucher = £2 for 2. Also got a Botanics tube of face pack stuff for free as this was £4.99 and Botanics foaming face wash also free as it was under £5. In the Liverpool branch earlier today was told by SA that the Weekend sets wouldn't scan through on the voucher any more - but I knew better so I went to the Warrington retail park branch and hey presto it worked! Naughty Boots though - none of the stuff I bought was marked up with the "you can use your £5 skin care voucher on this range" sign on them, so whilst there were women anxiously walking around peering at shelves to see where they could redeem their vouchers - I, being a savvy Boots shopper went to unmarked shelves and bought what was available. I also pointed a couple of people in the right direction (after I had filled my boots so to speak!).
They were still giving out the £5 voucher with £5 spend at 8.50pm tonight and the shop closed at 9.00pm and the voucher runs out today - strange! You would need to do a trolley dash through Boots!

I have just come back in from boots. Just thought I had mentioned that in our boots there are still loads of gift sets reduced from last christmas and they have the little green parcel stickers.
Now the 3 for 2 offer is back on in store for all the new gift sets it is also working on the reduced stuff.
I got three fab toys for my baby ( 2x pram activity set and a wind up toy radio ) for £11.
