but prob better to get free D and A eye test then get some cheap 20 quids specs online (see other thread) - but that's being very frugal!
Thanks for that.....I got a really good deal thanks to a fanatstic sales assistant...my glasses were £210, he said he would throw in some sunglasses...frames of my choice, I chose some pink frames (very me!!) and he let me have the pink tint in them for free too...should have been about £70 to upgrade!!!! also I mentioned to him about the free eyetest in the machine (couldn't get a ticket to print) and he said he couldn't knock the money off but he could give me £15 in points!! all in all I walked out with just over £40 in pointsa free pair of sunglasses better than I was entitled to and the glasses I have had my eye on (so to speak)
I have tried getting my glasses on line.....didn't work for me....couldn't wear them when I got them!!!!

I have had a reply from Boots re the Intuition razors (the cashier refused to let me have them on BOGOF, as they were already half price). Here's what they said:
I am sorry to learn that after using our advantage card point to print off a buy
one get one free offer, you where told that this offer was not available to you
as the Intuition razors where already reduced.
We normally do only have one offer available per transaction, which maybe why
your voucher was declined. However I can certainly appreciate that we where
advertising an offer via our kiosk you would expect us to honour it. And I have
contacted our salesplan team to make them aware of your experience.
I am sincerely sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience that this matter
must have caused you. And I would very much like to send a £15.00 giftcard to
you. Please forward your address details to me quoting your reference number
I think the inconvenience was worth it!

HI Sarah, just wondering how you contacted Boots and how long they took to get back to you? I emailed them last week and was wondering if I would hear from them soon. Thinking about it now I should've phoned them!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I emailed them at the beginning of last week via the website. I got an automated response, then a full response today.
