Just been into my local branch and was looking for the skin wipes. Nothing on show. Then the assistant produced a packet from the top, nicely out of reach...................................wasn't to me though :):).

Together with a mascara that I wanted and free box, I went to the till, waited until they had all gone through then produced voucher. Excellent.

The 250 points voucher in the box is valid from tomorrow (14th) until 8th November. Don't forget to take them out if you are giving the box as a Christmas present!

I had the sales assistant from hell today too..

There was a stand of NO7 suncare stuff all of it marked up with buy one get one free on it. It was marked on every shelf so, to me, it looked like every thing on that stand was buy one get one free. I spent ages choosing my two products and went to the till. They didn't go through as buy one get one free. So I explained to the assistant that there must be an error as the shelf was all marked up. She then huffed under her breath...but loud enough for me to hear....."thats all I need today" and then the scowling began. She then got someone to check who said that yes it does look like its all buy one get one free but it isnt. There was no way they were budging. I had three of them stood round me by then. They kept going on asking which one I would like or do I still want them both. I ended up buying one of them but I wouldn't have chosen any if the shelves were marked up properly. The assistant was so rude in her attitude and when I left the shop I felt really upset. I couldn't continue my shopping and had to go straight home.
I see lots of free vouchers coming your way!! Complain. I worked in a high street shop for years & was not rude to customers(you just have to bite your tounge sometimes). She was extremely rude & would have been in serious trouble if that was my shop. http://www.boots.com/microsites/microsite_info_template.jsp?contentId=4116#15 Click this link & then go to shops link & tell them what happened & lay it on thick, she really deserves a telling off. Mark it if you can for the manager of customer services. Go on, that was appauling! Let us know how it goes.

I was in Boots to spend my last vouchers today and twice had to remind assistants that other customers had qualified for £5 vouchers. They seemed to think that because it was the last day they wouldn't bother.

I was wondering if anyone else knew what happens when they offer you free points (500) in compensation for not sending you out a free skincare voucher with an online order. it says they would like to offer me 500 points but not how I get them? Any advice would be good, thanks.

They offered me the same when my package arrived this morning completely mashed up - the moistirosers etc inside had all burst and it was a MESS

    - I am assuming since they know your order details etc - your advantage card number would come up alongside this when they looked at it for you - so i THINK it must just work the same way you get the points with your order - stick your card in the machine 4/5 days later to get them added on........

Let's hope so!! Will go tomorrow and check. sent her a quick email back to ask too. Nothing to lose, don't even know if it was an address you could reply to though. Your order sounds like a bit of a botch job, hope the points you get cover the wasted products.

  • What's the best method for contacting Boots for an order which contained items I didn't want, and not the ones I did?!

Is there a direct customer services email address?

On their website they have a contact us section. Think (might be mistaken) you can email, phone or post. thinking about it wished I'd just called, would have got matter sorted out quicker!
how did they manage to mix up your order so much? Is there a lot wrong. hope u get it sorted.

I can't believe I just did this......Ruby & Millie sponges back in stock....So I bought 20 =£40.00 = free delivery = over 6000 points!!!! 500 for every 2 products, 500 for £25 spend and 500 for code posted on here (OBAH39 I think it was). I do need a couple of new sponges 'cause I've run out, but20? Will see if family and friends want them or look to see if worth ebaying? Really saving up for points to get my little one soom Pooh bedding!!!

What happens if you spend your points then send the items back? Since it costs nothing to return things to Boots and you have 28 days!
