I had the sales assistant from hell today too..
There was a stand of NO7 suncare stuff all of it marked up with buy one get one free on it. It was marked on every shelf so, to me, it looked like every thing on that stand was buy one get one free. I spent ages choosing my two products and went to the till. They didn't go through as buy one get one free. So I explained to the assistant that there must be an error as the shelf was all marked up. She then huffed under her breath...but loud enough for me to hear....."thats all I need today" and then the scowling began. She then got someone to check who said that yes it does look like its all buy one get one free but it isnt. There was no way they were budging. I had three of them stood round me by then. They kept going on asking which one I would like or do I still want them both. I ended up buying one of them but I wouldn't have chosen any if the shelves were marked up properly. The assistant was so rude in her attitude and when I left the shop I felt really upset. I couldn't continue my shopping and had to go straight home.0 -

Go back and point out that their display is in clear breach of Trading legislation and that you wish them to fulfill the offer originally made ie bogof and that you intend to bring their misleading point of sale material to the attention of Trading Standards!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

I knew there was some sort of rule on that type of thing but couldn't think at the time. The sale assistants huffy face and bad attitude made me feel as if I shouldn't be there so I didn't argue the point for long. I knew a MSEer would know the rules.0 -

I did wonder whether it was worth checking stock levels earlier on in the morning. I have been looking for these for ages and usually check at night, this is the first time I have seen them in stock, must go quick! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Just popped into Boots in town centre to spend my last £5 voucher and they were reducing loads of the kitchen stuff, I bought an ice-cream maker for £9.99 and a Juicer and citrus press set for £17.50.
They also had George Forman grills, glass panini/sandwich grills, mixers, various coffee makers etc. They are reducing it as they need the shelf space for Christmas stock.
Some elec is still full price.
This was central Milton Keynes store.0 -
