My daughter gets higher rate mobility she gets blue badge and free bus pass

I was meant to be on a register for free boiler servicing with Scottish power, but they haven't said anything about there care free winter rebate to us.

Give them a ring and ask them about it. I find the energy companies are not very quick at letting people know they could get cheaper tariffs or rebates, there must be loads of people paying more than they could be.

DLA is non means tested so you can earn and claim.

I suspect they are getting free school meals and prescriptions because they have a low income.

My husband has take 5 different types of tablets a day and they keep him alive or are being taken to counter act the side effects of other tablets he is on, he gets IB and DLA and has to pay, so gets a yearly ppc.

the two main cinema chains near me (Odeon & Cineworld) may have concessions in theory, but in practise it was impossible to find anyone who knew how to implement them
several times we phoned to check & were told bring proof of the DLA award, then they'd give us a form to fill in, take photos etc, but when we arrived we'd find there were no forms, and/or no-one on duty who knew what to do, and sometimes they'd even deny the scheme existed

I sent off for the CEA forms, paid the £5 & now have hassle-free cinema visits

yes we get free prescriptions and school meals b/f gets DLA, !B, and IS i get CA for him...

My son gets higher rate DLA - but i pay for his school meals. Free prescriptions are through tax credits.

If on IS you get school meals and prescriptions.

The number we were given for BG winter rebate (winter warmer package) is 0845 8502207 they sorted it all for us.

Wasn't the Winter rebate from BG replaced by Essentials?

The rebate is no longer I thought.

I gave them a ring what a waste of time that was

First they said I need to pay for my bills quarterly, rather than monthly. I have a online account, then it turns out that even if we did that we still couldn't get it as we need to be pensionable age
