I couldnt get private rented accomodation as I have pets and private landlords dont allow them and I live in uk, the rent is atrocious. I bought the home to live in, thats why I am in debt!!!!!!! I am 51 and never had any debts in my life until 2 yrs ago and I kept up the repayments until I was made redundant!!!! and also, I kept up with the repayments even though I wasnt working. From my savings!!!!!
    give me a break!!!

Hang on a sec - Rent is atrocious?

How much was the mobile home?

Have you factored in depreciation of the home and running costs and interest lost / payabale on the mobile home

I dont accept the pets argument - There re landlords out there who will accept pets - If they really dont then maybe its a good time to sell them on ?

hi hun just wanted to add that although you say you have to work a month in hand, if you are starting within the next few days then you should be paid on their april pay run as this would be your month in hand.

    good luck

  • Hi Cas

Sorry to hear about all this, but please go and see your bank manager asap.

I've just done some quick sums here and it would appear that you've actually paid more than you should.

Assuming payments due, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar @293 = £1172
    Paid £180+180+699.19-200+699.19 = £1558.38
Therefore, you've been charged £386.38 too much

Is that right (the bank have taken 2 lots of £699.19 from you)?
