It certainly doesn't. If people get paid this week then the number of comments will go up next week.
It's after 11:10pm now, and nobody has posted to say they have been paid. I think a large proportion of their posters are from this site, and this site would be the first place you hear of someone being paid.Andy_Calafell wrote: »i really hope it can keep together and funtion more efficiently when the amount of comments to moderate becomes even greater.
Me too, make money out of it while you can.0 -
Andy_Calafell wrote: »The only downside is the reviews must be at least 300 words, which is alot more than WritersShare.
Thanks Andy, I will look into that in the morning.
Are your guaranteed payment for your review?
Writers share may pay £1 for a 150 word comment, but if half your comments are rejected then you are getting paid £1 for writing 300 words.0 -

Once you sign up you can see all of the recent posts from all of the users and there really haven't been many at all! With thousands of products for you to review on there without any reviews linked to them, I would say as long as they are of decent quality, which I'm sure yours will be then they will most certainly be accepted.
I only ever wrote 10 for them and they have all been accepted.
It took the longest amount of time for the comments to be approved, just over a week. About a day later I recieved an e-mail asking which method I would like to be payed with, I asked for Paypal and I was paid withing 30 minutes.
Perhaps this time the whole process may be quicker with no bank holidays eliminating the working days.0 -
From the way the site is worded I think it's a UK site...I could be wrong though...
I haven't been paid for comments last week but I am still waiting to be paid for comments from before the site went down, I got confirmations that they were good enough but I am still awaiting payment for two :mad:By this time next year we'll be millionaires......
Personal challenge- Make an extra£5 a day for May from may 6th....and not spend it!0 -
mommamoney have you tried emailing them to ask about the missing payments?
I haven't had any confirmation emails yet or any payment. Going away now for a couple of days so hoping that when I get back there will be some money awaiting me in paypal!0 -

Just visited the site and it now says
All topics will be closed for a while!
May 9, 2008
Dear everbody - we are going to shut down all the topics very soon while we start approving comments and make today’s payment. We’ll be back as soon as we cn.
PS We know how majorly annoying it is when you enter a comment and then get a message saying ‘Topic now closed.’ It’s a nasty bug and we will fix it as soon as the tech team have come up with their usual excellent solution. Apologies to all who have experienced this.
Have good weekends!

Me too considering I mentioned it first0 -
ahha, so you did. either way, my post was slightly in more depth!0

the writersshare site now shows how many comments have been left per topic. *i think*. everyone should check it out.0
-
Do you think this means they have now collated all the replies/comments and are working through them to accept or reject, or do you think this is the number of accepted comments per topic?
The emails I received on Friday accepting my comments said I will be paid on Friday but it didn't give a date so maybe the payment will be next week. I am still confident that the payment will come and think this is a good way of making some extra cash, it is just a bit unpreductable as to when payments will be received.0
