On holiday earlier this year, I had a dessert in a cafe that was just a bowl of custard with mini rolos and maltesers sprinkled in. A proper kids pud, it was actually lovely.
Rice pudding was something we had as kids but both my little ones can't stand it...Bossymoo

Mr T`s Rice Pudding is 12p a can and tastes fine. Add some fruit or jam etc is you want.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0

We often have soup and a pud as a meal, this is a lovely and very easy pud, will do 2 or 3 portions can be doubled for more, a couple of apples is usually enough.
Oaty Apple Pud
Mix 2 1/2oz sr flour, 3oz porrige oats, 3 1/2oz brown sugar, 1tsp cinnamon. Melt 3oz marge mix into dry till crumbly, put half into bottom of dish, slice apples on top, cover with other half of mix. bake 375f 30-40 mins. Good with custard.0 -
My sis sometimes makes an almond sponge with rapsberries poked in it. It's quite thin, made in a large flan tin. sometimes a pastry base first. Also works really well tinned cherries. Dust with icing or icing drizzle.0

I have one, grease a microwavable bowl:
4oz flour
4oz marg
4oz sugar
2 eggs
(half if wanting a smaller pud)
You can put jam or syrup in if you want something sweet at the bottom.
Show in the microwave for 4 mins, will not brown and looks sticky on top but once some custard is stuck over it you cannot see it anyway. You could also add chocolate.
I put value lemon curd in the bottom (22p a jar) and then some lemon juice in the sponge.
Or strawberry jam (value 36p a jar) and almond flavouring in the sponge.
Value custard, made with water, costs something ridiculous like 6p a packet.

CHEATS CRUMBLE
Tin of fruit into bottom of dish (mango is lovely but anything really)
Pour carton of Ambrosia (or similar) custard over fruit
Sprinkle packet of crumble mix over custard
Bake as you would a normal crumble (I have an AGA so can't comment on temps etc). 30 to 40 mins
Easy, not too pricy and so little washing up! What is not to like.
Everyone seems to love this
I tried this last night with mango, got a big thumbs up from husband and ddThanks
