I wouldn't be happy to have to pay through income tax OR my electricity bill. I'd have to try and find a way to follow 'The Good Life' with solar panels and be totally self sufficientCheryl0 -
So, since last Thursday I've discovered I've been delivering a style of threat letter I'd not seen before. I managed to acquire a non-deliverable one, so I've taken some pics to share. Excuse the lens wipe package on one photo - it was the only thing I had readily to hand to cover the address!! The final photo shows the leaflet opened out with one our 'sorry we missed you' leaflets on top to try and demonstrate the (much smaller than normal) size - I figured most folks will have seen one of our forms at some time or other.Cheryl3

The address can still be obtained from the postcode and flat number in the 3rd picture.

Thanks for the head up - now removed. I'd checked two or three times, but totally missed that oneCheryl0 -
How desperate must they be to employ people using public money to come up with this nonsense?0

"Our officers visit an address every 6 seconds". Ignoring the obvious joke ("the homeowner must be pretty cheesed off"), a visit every 6 seconds means 10 visits every minute and therefore 600 visits per hour. Since there are roughly 300 licence salesmen that's 1 visit per salesman every half-hour. It's always good to do the maths.

They're either knocking on every door in a street or not spending long anywhere, as there's travelling time to be accounted for as well.....Cheryl0

Used to take what felt like hours to get it all cleared off so we could carry on !!!
