  • i think the red fabric was Moda, to be honest i find the prices for moda (and all the other designer fabric) about double the price of what it is in america, so i order the fabric from USA and keep the whole order under $36 or £18 that was there are no extra custom fees or duty to pay, means i can only get up to 6 yards at a time, but the shipping is only about a fiver, and thats are bargain considering where i live (northern isles) as most carriage to the isles is double that even if its sent from mainland scotland!! also have a look at etsy too, i;ve seen gorgeous fabric on there, i just type in things like, half yard fabric bundle/designer fabric/quilting fabric etc, the prices are usually very reasonable. i haven't sewed for weeks as i've just moved house, but i'm ready to unpack my sewing bits next week! yeah!:D
    totally a tog!:D

Sorry about a random and late post. But your bags are AMAZING !!!! I love the flower pattern. Good luck selling but you will not need it - you'll get lots of sales.

i got all my patterns for free via craft websites and just by googling free bag pattern etc, once i understood the pattern (sometimes they can be a bit confusing as you make them inside out) i adjusted the sizes, width, length of handles etc. with the purses i kind of mixed 2 patterns together...believe me there were a few mistakes with the purses...so i practised on scraps until i figured out how to make them without them being a total wreck:D
    totally a tog!:D
