Now I'm not good on a sewing machine and have no idea how you put the bags together but could you make reversable bags for Christmas, say with Xmas pattern on one side and plain on the other then pressies could be given one way and then the person could turn it inside out after Xmas and use as a bag for life

I'm a bit of a "bagaholic":o and I have to say that I reallly reallly want one of these bags - they are fantastic and I for one would definately buy one of these if they were sold in my local shop:D I realllly like the little purses as well

These are fantastic - well done you! I've recently been advising a friend who has set up her own jewellery and accessories shop, so attended lots of trade shows helping her to select bags. We couldn't beleive that some of the largest had no internal pocket, for a purse/keys/mobile, to keep them close at hand instead of getting buried beneath everything else. So if you get chance taking all the other fab comments on board perhaps that's something to think about for a range of big bags!
Good luck - you have a winning business on your hands if the price is right.0 -
thanks, i have spent the last 3 and half hours looking at zips and pockets etc, the first attempt went wrong:mad: but have found a better method so cut out everything i need for tomorrow and will try again in the morning as i have a whole 3 hours to myself! i will post the result when i master it!:D thankstotally a tog!:D0

Just a thought but the inside of the bags
myself I prefer lining inside not too light.
I have a radley bag here that is one of
my favourites, but the lining fabric is the
palest minty green and despite my best
efforts its really dirty looking and cannot
be cleaned.:j:j:j0 -
aaargh zips!! ok i finally got my head round it and made 2 bags with inside zip pockets (of course the lining of the pockets matches the outside fabric...its been very time consuming but i think the more i do it the easier it will become (hopefully)...just got to wait for my new fabric to be delivered!totally a tog!:D0
