Slow Site Feedback Please

Hi.

we've noticed some posts about the site speed. Whilst we know we are peeking on tip day and radio 2 day. It shouldn't be slow at other times.

Please can you note when you find it slow? Whether it's the main or the chat site? How slow it is (how many seconds for a page to load) and what you were doing

This would be a great help

Last night at about 7pm I couldn't get into the chat forums and other links from the homepage were really slow.

I closed everything down and did another search through Google but still couldn't get in for about half an hour.

Maybe it was just me :-[

No poochy I've been having problems actually getting on to the site for a few days now, its has been taking from about half an hour to more just to ger on the main site and then when I finally have and tried to go to chat forums I've ended up with ---syntax error and page not displayed ???, and I have had to just keep trying, it has always took sometime to get through.
It has been about the last 5 days at least since this problem started.
I had trouble tonight getting on about 8pm this took around 10mins, Saturday night was the worst I was already on and got kicked off about midnight, I am on broadband so this wasn't the problem, I remember contacting Fran, Sparky 61 as they had problems too it took me about one hour to get back on the site and when you want to change a page it takes about 20-30 secs or the page comes up page not displayed, but again this has only been in the last 5 days. :-/

Also on posting a messeage, it has totally dissappeared when I have pressed post or on previewing it, it just dissappears and get the page not displayed and the you know you have lost your post ???

This past couple of days I have not been able to get the site to load. All i get is "The Document cannot be displayed"!!

if I leave it for an hour or so and come back it goes ok!

Its the only site I have had any problems with......

No Martin, No problems with any other sites or anywhere other than this site.

I've just had a problem getting back to reply now, it took me straight out to the main site and then displayed page not displayed again.

me 4 i had it at the weeknd but not since.

It is a bit slow on loading tonight started about 10 mins ago for me. im on 750k broadband by the way.

Had a few problems getting onto site over the past week or so, usually around 4.30-5pm. put this down to most people arriving home and logging on.
however couldnt get onto site this morning between 2-2.30 am ??? shut down pc, and restarted tried a few sites no problems, just getting on here. ?

Me too again, got kicked off about 2am and only manage to get back on 10mins ago .

Checked my computer through nothing wrong here got onto other sites very easy.
It is running really slow though dread having to change the page :-/

Agree with you mate, only just got back on myself. Seems ok now though.
