Mioliere and Catowen - it was a great week - we didn't let the weather spoil our holiday!:D lots of shopping, eating, walking, reading and sleeping!:D
Smoky (((hugs)))

Hope you all have a great day!

Will hop in the shower in a minute, and make another cup of tea - OH just made me one with about 10 sugrs which is undrinkable
Hope you all have a good day xWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
morning all,
raining here too, bit dull and miserable, got a bit of tyding up to do today, DD's uniform is in the wash, will hang on airer, need to do her shirts, hoover, mop floors.
Will pop to Mr T go get a chicken for dinner, we were having duck, but when I cooked it and took the meat off there was not enough, so will make that into another meal.
Got my dad comng over for dinner, my mum has gone up to Hereford for the week with her sister, we are going to pick her up next week, will be travelling up on the Friday and back on sunday, we are going to climb Hay Bluff and Lord Herefords K**b
on the Saturday, Taplady, will give you a wave as i pass. Glad you had a good break.
Catznine, hugs to your OH, what a horrible thing to have.
Catowen, hugs for your DD, is she drinking lots ?
Martyn, you sound much more upbeat today :T
Donny, I must say having seen the meet photos that you looked exactly how I imagined, I knew it was you xx
Kathy would have loved to have helped with the squares but can't knit or crochet, will be there with you in spirit
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning all! It has been raining here all night and is still going - you wouldn't think there was anything left up there to come down...
Didn't get a chance to post yesterday, OH has discovered MSE!!!! after me telling him about it for years  so he's been having a ball reading it all through and deciding what to chop and change. Also I was singing at a Grand Wedding yesterday afternoon which took all day, it was in a fabulous stately home nearish to here which would have been lovely for the photos etc if it hadn't been so wet.
We went to see The Other Boleyn Girl last night (DD and I thought it was awful, but OH enjoyed it!) and then out for supper, a bit naughty of us since not very moneysaving but yummy nevertheless. DS, who arrived home from uni on Friday (:T ) had gone off to a 21st party, resplendent in his newly tie dyed shirt which he came home and requested help in doing, luckily because I'm an ageing hippy I knew what to do.
Sewing today and I need to speak to my mum about the funeral arrangements for my aunt, I don't think it's going to be much of a fun day, but these things have to be got through.
Have a great day everyone. Special HUGS to Smokey, I'm thinking of you and yours.

Morning all! We went to some friends for a Hot Veggie Indian
last night, and as we were child-free, ended up staying the night (after heated discussion as to whose turn it was to drive
). I'm not good at spontaneous, so felt a bit odd doing that, but had a great time. I'd made a cheescake, which went down well, as did the HG eggs and HM chutney and jam I left for them. We spent a long time discussing her plans for keeping chooks, so we''ll be assisting in the building of a coop, and sourcing some birds.
I've had a text from DD. She's back in the country after her school trip, and we should be collecting her around lunch time.
Off out into the garden soon. It's a bit cold here, but I have a problem border that I'e had some inspiration on, so want to see if I can get it right this year. May take my camera, too.
Have a Super Sunday, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Morning Everyone
Read the thread then got distracted by a phone call so (((hugs))) to anybody who needs one.
The great kitchen clear out continues to day only the big larder cupboard to do today but it will take some time as its packed to the gills with stuff. On top of that I seem to have got totally behind with the washing so I need to get back on top of that.
Tea will be something quick not sure what yet and I'll proberbly spend the evening ironing.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning all
Welcome Kazwookie & other newbies, we did get up at silly o'clock to watch the GP.
Katy & her friends went out eventually, so I was able to go to meet Gok Wan, with my DD's & DGD. He was really lovely, very friendly. He took one look at DGD who in now six weeks old & immediately asked to hold her, she smiled & gurgled at him. We all got our books signed & came home tired but happy.
Katy got home arond midnight I think she was alone. Hubby & I are off to get some fish food & I want to get 2 shrubs for the garden, not sure which ones though. Lamb shank in the SC for later.
Have a good one.
Hugs Hester

Morning everyone.
It is a wet day here but I had tea and toast brought up to me in bed by OH,
So mustn't grumble. My plans for the day are to sort my wardrobe out and get rid of clothes that I haven't worn for ages(bet I don't!) and to watch the Grand Prix and it Pays to Watch which have both been recorded.
Had a lovely night out with friends last night who cooked us steak but I couldn't cut into mine (no steal knives) and it was getting a little ackward
until I realised that the steak had been kept in a perfect circle by a thin piece of red string. Problem solved once string removed.
Youngest son up today to watch grand prix hope he is not soooo down.
Finding it very hard to cope with but will manage.
Off for a cup of tea.
Hugs to everyone- we all need them from time to time.
Have a good day.0
