She let you take her GHDs with you on holiday

How did she cope without them
She didn't go "curly" :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: did she:p
Not quite lol...I left her my old Vidal Sasson pair!.. Her hair is actually fairly straight anyway...but ...apparently a girl needs PIN straight hair lol.

If both BA and BD had delays out of Manchester it's likely that there were fairly widespread delays-add in delays from people flying in earlier in the day who missed their flights for similar reasons and the late new York probably went out packed -it's common with the later flights. Anyone physically -there- would have been rebooked first-your daughter as a "expected to make it" especially on another carrier's flight and having no status-got what was left.
I pick early flights to the US partly for this reason -the later in the day-the greater the chance of suffering the "knock on effect".I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

Hi,
I agree with your theory on delayed flights but
as far as I can tell, the OP is saying BA had seats (see his posts above) and still transferred them onto Kuwait airlines.0 -

you have probably summed it up perfectly (ignore my wild theories!!)....other flights delayed (with lots of passengers with status) all looking for a connection to NY. probably people waiting at the airport on 'standby' with status ....possibly at the end of the day none of the BA flights took off with empty seats.
of course with the business culture the way it is these days you'll never find out the truth.0
