    morning wooligans.
its brilliant that we are all making such brilliant contributions and great to be using up wool that would otherwise be sitting round going to waste.
whatever is being knitted whether its squares, hats, baby clothes or even breasts they are all needed by the various charities so well done everyone:T .

i bet smokeys blanket will look lovley in all the various colours and patterns everyone is choosing for that, i've just finished another 'smoky' sqauare in brown 'random' wool - the one the changes shades as it goes along, i brought 2 balls to knit a scraf for a little boy last year but only needed one so i thought id do some squares with the other.

BTW aldi had restocked my local shop with more wool last saturday its arran in loads of different colours at £3.49 per 400g, they also had instructional dvds on how to knit and tubes of carious sized needles dont know how many were in them but they were £4.99 a tube.

Well, I have been very naughty - and spent the morning knitting in front of daytime TV instead of doing the housework and revising - ooops!

Here is my effort - I'm very pleased with myself :T

Kathy can you add two more squares to my 'smoky' total please. i've already posted 2 off to lainey, ill knit some more before posting the one i have here off.

I've just got back from the postoffice my 4 completed squares are now on their way to the HTA blanket, and i posted 2 nine inch ones off to oxfam.

its a bit strange two cost 48p to post BUT the four posted to the HTA cost £1.38 because i used a bigger envelope, so its cheaper to post in twos rather than getting them all in one:confused:

    Hi everyone

I've now finished another square for Smokey (3 in total).

I'm posting the 7 squares I've done for HTA to OECS this afternoon.

I'm having a bit of a crap time atm (just split with my bf after 2 years) so don't know when I'll be able to get more squares done- either that or I'll be knitting loads to keep me busy!
