Finally managed to get some wool at last!!! :T :T :T

Can I just confirm that we're doing 8" squares for both causes please?

Just hope I can remember how to knit and crochet now! :o :rotfl:

Hi Chameleon - yes, we're doing 8" for both blankets for now, until we have enough for two HTA ones (63 per blanket, so we need 37 more for the second one). After that, for anyone who wants to carry on knitting, we're still doing 8" for Smoky's and for blankets for her children, but will start doing 7" ones for HTA because that is the usual size for the group who are doing the sewing up. I hope that makes sense and thanks for your contribution. There are lots of tutorials online for refreshing your memory on knitting and crochet - a good knitting one is on page 3 of the thread; MAYTAURUS found it and it's excellent!

That's great mioliere, thanks very much! :A

I did have a quick peek at one of the crochet tutorials the other day and was surprised how quickly it all came back to me so let's see if I can actually produce the goods now :rotfl:
