After reading this thread I'm so tempted to get a steam mop now!

Using a conventional mop seems to take me ages, since my whole downstairs living room and kitchen is laminate, doesn't always give it a great clean either as the water gets dirty quickly!

Best recommendations for a steam mop without breaking the bank? :)

I got my mop from b&q, and its lasted really well. It must be a year old now, but the head looks good even now. Not too expensive either.

would definately recommend the E Mop.......bought mine from Waitrose at £19.95..well worth it as I clean several properties a week as well as my own
pop it in the washing machine............still got the same cloth 18 months on......the only down side is the velcro on the head can pick up a bit of fluff so the cloth dont stay on too well, just pick the bits off with tweezers![ too tight to buy a new one, about £5, even tho I could put it thro the business!]
    just use hot water
cleans fab on tiles, lino and all wood floors, even 200 yr old ones!
leaves floor nearly dry provided you wring it out well before use.
got a brill swivel head so you can get in all tricky corners and under furniture.
