Oh my God:eek: ,whats the Botanics Elixir?

    I'll avoid that!

It's a bath soak, I should have guessed as soon as I saw the bubbles. I used the tiniest amount, too. It was supposed to soothe tired muscles.

Oh well, I just saw CPG's post and I guess I can have a free gift with a Canestan product, now.

Ooops - just saw your 2nd post! Can I use a £1 off voucher but pay with points? 20% off too.

Off to get a hair colour, too as need cheering up. I used the Botanics elixir and it has given me thrush :( so now I'm going to have to spend Boots points to get me better....I hate spending money/points like that - it's not exactly a treat is it?

;) Sounds like a good case for call to CS (tell number on page 1 from Crazy Poshgal.)...
I think will defo get points for this. I bet.

I love the stuff and think it really is super. I have had no probs I will attach photo so people know what it is later.

About half the stuff I get from .com (especially the sale stuff) is damaged in some way. Some of it is only a little tear to the box all the way up to filthy and dusty boxes but it's all annoying. When I talked to CS I asked to speak to the manager to complain as I had bought a lot of items. She asked me "what are you going to be doing with the items?", as if that made a difference (i.e. the inference was that it didn't really matter if I was going to be using the stuff myself -lol). I only thought of a great witty reply when I'd put the phone down as she caught me offguard. They said I could send the stuff back, but it's all a hassle.

How rude! It's those type of questions that annoy me too. What's it got to do with anyone what you do with the items? You've paid for them and they're yours to do what you wish with.

I suspect that they thought you'd be reselling tbh. Not that that's anyone's business either.

At a guess, I'd say I was only able to place about 4 x orders when the 75% sale was in, and when the items weren't up to scratch, I complained and was refunded the money and told to keep the rest of the items that were included in the set.

But I'd definitely have been caught offguard if they'd have asked me what I was doing with the Sanctuary spa sets. Like ...what else can you do with Sanctuary secret set products apart from bathe in 'em?;)

I received my online order last week and one of the items is the wrong size:mad: I e-mailed CS the following day, but they didn't reply:confused: Today, I called the 0800 number that's mentioned on the 1st page of this thread (thanks crazyposhgal:D ) the lady I spoke to said I could return the item via my local store or send it back to them and wait for them to send a replacement. I think I'd prefer just to get a refund from the store (not had much luck with dotcom. I've only ever placed 2 orders and both times there has been a problem:mad: ) my question is: I recieved 1000points for buying 3 prem beauty items, and the item I wish to return is one of those items. Will they take back my 1000points? I will be as mad as hell if they do, because I would not be returning it if they had sent me the correct size. They sent a 8ml item instead of 30ml:eek: Has anyone here ever returned a dotcom item to a store for a refund?
Sally, it just seems wrong to me that .com are asking you to go to the trouble of returning the goods, either to a store or by post, when THEY have made a mistake. Also I don't see why you should be penalised for their mistake by losing points.

I would have thought that a good customer service department would simply let you keep the product that was sent in error and immediately rectify their mistake by sending out the correct product.
If they do expect you to run around returning products then they should be adding some extra points for the inconvenience that they have put you to.

Lets hope it doesn't go green or orange or pink!

Why? You might get a sick note if it does ;) :rotfl:

Know what you mean about other threads - I'm still traumatised by a visit to another one :o:D

I finally got around to returning those hatboxes. I sent my oh :D lol. But the money went straight on to a gift card and I've got a little bit more room for more Boots goodies ;)

They are in fact smaller than a cd case, when I heard of them on here I was looking for a glove thing in clear plastic, but it is in fact a smaller than cd size white cardboard cover.Went in three Boots yesterday and they where all near the hair removal creams. Don't forget your 100 point out of the mag;) You will only pay 25p then.
