    Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone could give me the barcode of the toothbrush that works with the mag voucher?
I popped into Boots this morning and I wasn't sure which one worked
I'm hoping to get some to put into my Christmas shoe boxes:D

    Thanks x

I got the Fresh Effect Wisdom Sensitive -- I tried one that didn't work, and the SA said it had to be Fresh Effect Wisdom, which that store was out of, so I went to another store.

    barcode: 5028763007710

Hello, can someone help please, does anyone know if there are any stores in somerset near Yeovil or Taunton that still have the reduced soap and glory gift set?

I'm feeling a bit of what others here do who say security follows them! It's not that with me, but I definitely am getting known in one Boots, and feel a bit like I don't want to go in anymore.

It's a store where at the main registers, there is one lady who never took the 100 point Expert coupons (this was before they started going through the computer, but now I don't want to go to her for anything as she is anti-coupon/deals). So I used the checkout near the pharmacy. The first time I went, the lady there was willing to give 100 points, but needed approval and said it would take awhile, and something else I had was the wrong one. So I left it all. Was back in today, ended up getting her again and she remembered me! And of course problems again! I was getting a 17 lipstick on clearance for 50P and the lip glaze free. The lipstick wouldn't ring up, so the lady had to go check. It had been the only one at 50p -- the others that were the same kind said £1 (lots of clearance items have different prices for the same thing, so of course I grabbed the cheapest). So then I got scared that she would think I changed stickers to get 50p as the others said more. She didn't, but then it wouldn't let me have the lip glaze! The computer had rung up 50p generically, it didn't say 17. So says it's because it's on clearance, and I say no, it's because you rung in 50p and the computer doesn't know it's 17, because this worked a couple of days ago. She had a line, so she took me to the photo dept (I was ready to chuck it all). So the photo lady could do no better, and I just took the 50p lipstick and left the glaze, and got a toothbrush free with coupon.

The problem is, after all of that they will definitely remember me and I don't want to go back! I'm also worried the photo lady will think I lied about the lipstick price, as the first lady had taken off the 50P sticker and just had a barcode, so I told the photo lady it was 50p. If she looks at the others, they all say £1! I would've gladly overpaid by 50p just to not have to worry about this! The bad thing is that this Boots has more clearance stuff, and while it has a smaller selection overall than the other Boots I go to, it's a backup when the first Boots is out of stuff. Ugh!

When I returned items last week they rang CS to check on the price as I had said it was different to what I paid. Before that she said if it comes up on the till we can take it back instore, if not they couldn't. I didn't lose my 2000pts either :) as I had returned 5 of 6 prem beauty items but I did lose the normal points value as I gave my AD card. When you return to .com you may lose your prem beuty points, but I'm not sure.
Just to let you know that I returned something in-store which didn't come up on the till and the SA also had to call CS to see how much it is. I think she put it through as beauty and didn't ask for my AC card so I kept the points.

To be honest I think that all Boots stores should be able to take returns from .com as it does say on the despatch note that you can return them to any Boots store. I think that sometimes the stores do fob people off maybe because they're not sure how to do it when really they should get someone who does know how to do it.

I always return my stuff in-store if needed because then there's no risk of it going walkabouts within the Royal Mail system and you get an instant refund.
