Can't wait to see your report. Since I am off tomorrow and Monday will have to find something to do as OH is working. What will I do?

Rearrange all your Boots goodies? ;)

Do we know if it's just Easter Sunday closing at Boots yet?

Oh poor Daisy, just look for a bit of a store detective person carrying alot of vouchers but looking up and down and around and mostly looking as if someone is looking at them, but not really shopping... then stride right over to a SA and ask do you have a clearance stand. At most you will find where it is,.... at least the store detective following you may move away from you,..... at best you may see one of us lot ...:rotfl:

Can anyone give me a picture of berry item pls? Cause I am greedy and I want it....!mmmm yum yum, god I am not goin near that I am off sick thread:p :rotfl: :rotfl:

Pic of the bag above, its cute.

As I only get to town every 6-8 weeks and only discovered bootsing after xmas due to this tread, i've yet to notice a security guard following me. TBH I'd be so nervous it would probably put me off shopping for life :rotfl:

You're right about asking though re the clearance stand, might next time if I'm brave enough.

Not spotted a fellow bootser yet :A

I guessed that those bags would be reduced valk_scot. They're not the type of bag I'd normally choose either, but there's something really eye-catching about them for some reason:confused: , but I won't be dashing out to buy one. That's if one ever appears locally. Which it probably won't. I'm still quite happy with the Ruby Wax bag - they'd be ideal for your camping (it was camping wasn't it?)

Totally agree about some of those other threads too btw. :)

Yes, camping. Yes I do think the TB bag is attractive but it's not very practical unless you have a shelf to decant everything onto, I would say. It doesn't open up very well and things would get lost down the bottom. I got four of the big brown suedette M/Day Sanctuary bags (two when reduced to £10) which are an ideal style for camping given that they're very roomy, will open fully for rummaging in and they won't show the dirt much either, which is important while camping!

The National Trust stuff that was around over Christmas and the 75% sale was pretty good in this respect too. I spend a lot of my shopping time thinking about useful kit for camping trips and the Bootsing helps with a lot of it! I'm taking the kids camping in France for the whole of the summer this year (Hubby gets to come out for two single weeks, poor soul) so I need a lot of holiday toiletries etc. Suncream at £1 per bottle + Bogof? (As was a few weeks back in Musselburgh.) I bought a shedload.

Morning Daisy :) I can't miss one of my security guards - he wears the full uniform complete with hat and badge  and pays particular attention to the P&P. Which makes me wonder why they don't lump it all in one area - then he'll have less walking to do :D

The others are less obvious lol.

Maybe Boots related maybe not depending where bought, but would like to know what you ladies use for your 3 step? Mine are all mixed brands lol.

I have sensitive/normal skin and use:

Cleanser: Clarins Water comfort one step cleanser with peach essential water. (or No.7 4 in one 1 wipes when i'm too tired at night)
Toner: Garnier clean sensitive soothing sensation toner
Eye cream: Nivea Q10 or P&P from round box
Moisturiser: L'oreal Derma Genisis day (non SPF)
Night cream: L'oreal Derma Genisis night cream - my fave of the lot, its lurvly and i highly recommended it for sensitive skin.

I have tried lots over the years and find this bunch to be great together. This is just my preference, as we all have different skin types, but i'm just curious to know what you lovely ladies use and what combo works best for you.
I'm not saying, because I'm such a "3-step lazy slob". (Clue - I use Johnsons extracare baby wipes instead of cleansing wipes and am lucky if I smear on a bit of moisturiser). The thing is, my mam looks really young for her age and has only ever used soap and water (possibly luck, I'm not really sure?).

You're probably right about the TB bags - there's just something that drew me towards them (but not at £18 or £9 lol). The Ruby Wax are more practical for seeing things at a glance, but not sure why they haven't taken off in a bigger way, so I'll see how this one fares before I add to it.

Still like the Sanctuary bags but finding it impractical for 'goodies', so I might store my velcro rollers in it. (No laughing at the back please ;))

Those National Trust kits are great!

I was put off by them because I couldn't tell what was in them, and they were a bit of a drab colour. Then I read on here how good they were and managed to grab one. No good for me lol, but well worth what I paid :) There's all sorts in them isn't there? Better than Millett's imo ;)

Yooohooo - long-lost Bootser (been busy Tescoing) getting withdrawal symptoms so back to see what's happening as I'm finally running out of last year's stash.

A little tip for getting those GWPs safely past SAs.......I always buy a box of tampax and go to the blokes on the pharmacy counter. They're usually so embarrassed they can't wait to get rid of you!!!
    :D
Welcome back ! I can't get the hang of Tesco-ing, although people seem to do well. It seems to consist of getting hold of extremely rare coupons that don't seem to be in any shops as well as using coupons which are not related to what you are buying? (although, I get easily confused :rotfl: ).

I just can't get as excited about shopping for bargain toilet rolls and light bulbs as I can about shopping for nice smelly stuff for ME, tbh. Tesco just reminds me of housework. Boots reminds me that my glamorous younger days aren't necessarily finished yet. ;)

(Though I do not too badly in the Tesco points department...it does make a valuable contribution towards the holiday budget.)
