    Jings!

This is such a friendly thread.:T
I really only visit here, pigsback,TescoH&B (when H&B available)and the ebay threads. They are all friendly (nearly as friendly as here!)

I made a mistake and visited the employment thread with a couple of questions re sick leave.

I have virtually been accused of working the system, ouch!

Can I stay safe in here ,I am not venturing out again!

I am off to do my hair with my hair colour I got in Boots yesterday.

Lets hope it doesn't go green or orange or pink!

Don't let them get to you dotchas. I've had a similar experience:mad: When I was going through a nightmare re-mortgage (mortgage advisor mis sold and was totally incompetent) I posted a message on the mortgages board re: compo, and they attacked me like a pack of hungry wolves:eek: They said some really horrible things...I was so shocked at what they were saying. I just couldn't understand why they were so nasty! I very rarely post on any other thread now. My home is here, with all you nice peeps:D

Ooh jealous now, I've looked at the berry holdall online a few times as its lovely. Couldnt even find a clearance section in our store never mind reduced bags or sanctuary products. Its not a small store either. I am hoping to much that they may reduce it online :rotfl:

Oh poor Daisy, just look for a bit of a store detective person carrying alot of vouchers but looking up and down and around and mostly looking as if someone is looking at them, but not really shopping... then stride right over to a SA and ask do you have a clearance stand. At most you will find where it is,.... at least the store detective following you may move away from you,..... at best you may see one of us lot ...:rotfl:

Can anyone give me a picture of berry item pls? Cause I am greedy and I want it....!mmmm yum yum, god I am not goin near that I am off sick thread:p :rotfl: :rotfl:

That sounds wonderful. I checked online, and it's 25 pounds at Boots and 17 at Superdrug. Does anyone know a store that is offering a free gift with Clarins purchase?

Twenty five pounds.... Gosh I could clothe my children in a week for that:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: with no stains
  • Clarins will be on special offer (possible bonus points for purchase and/or gift) at the end of April according to the Clarins lady in liverpool street.
    HTH :D

    Hi All

Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum.

I work for a charity in Oxford which supports and houses vulnerable, young mums.

I aim to put on a makeover night for these young mums as they often have no contact with family and rely on each other for support. In addition they rarely get any time to theirselves.

Any ideas of where I can get some make-up from?

    Regards
ellymayo26, have you had a word with The Body Shop? Not sure if they still do this, I hope so, but when it still belonged to Anita Roddick they did offer makeovers to various charitable organisations and projects such as Womens Aid and the type of project you describe. Ladies could go into the shop or in certain circumstances someone would come out to the project to do makeovers, make-up nights etc. Totally free of charge and they often gave out samples etc too.
You could ask instore about it or alternatively if you have enough time, write to their head office.

Maybe Boots themselves would give you some goodies if you asked them too, a lot of these big firms are pretty generous if you write to them on the charities headed notepaper with the registered charity number on.

    Hope this helps.

PS There's a charities board here on MSE too somewhere, they could probably point you in the right direction.
