I was in high street kensington today (large store) and spotted 2 lonely looking pink MF GWP on MF counter:j on closer inspection one was a bit battered so I only took the one. I wasn't sure if SA would let me have it, because there was no barcode to scan:eek: I bought an MF product just incase SA said no to GWP (I didn't have time to try at another till if I was turned down, as I'd sneaked out of work and was in a hurry to get back!)

I bought:

MF masterpiece mascara 8.99 now 5.99
Bts exp mitt 1.29
JF serum 1.99
MF pink GWP:D SA looked a bit puzzled when he could'nt find barcode, so I said it was free with mascara:T

Paid 5.28 and used 100p exp mag voucher, 2.00off MF PC and 2.00 haircare voucher + I earned another haircare voucher:j

I tried a wisdom toothbrush with mag voucher (not one in pic, they didn't have these ) and till beeped!

On my way home I stopped off at swiss cottage. On clearance shelf I found:

Umbero Giannini sleek blowdry cream 2.40
JF shine release shampoo brilliant brunette 2.25

Used 2 haircare vouchers and paid 65p for both items:T

...the hunt goes on for black MF GWP. Anyone seen these in London?

I always stock up on Flash Balm at Boots when there's an offer...try to get 1,000 pts with two skincare purchases (my flash balm) plus free gift (sell on ebay to make back money).

Or look to buy them with your points at Boots whilst there's an offer on for free gifts you can sell on ebay. Small versions of Flash Balm are brilliant as they actually fetch more per ml on ebay than the full sizes!

Nip into Boots and try it too - the stuff is soooooopah!

Does anyone know if the 1500 extra points on Gucci by Gucci EDP (50 ml only) is also available in the stores, or is it just online? I would love some, but would prefer to pay with points.

SA are often distracted by DD1 or 2 so all i can suggest is turning your BOOTS baby into a real/ borrowed one if you can!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Done that at gemini, mine are two and four so get attention anywher with there ramble-ings on, anyway it was abad Bootser shop day as just too much attention to my liking.... hey we are doing nothing wrong... just screwing the system;) . I said via PM yesterday It's like crime watch revisited but as said in prev post sorry can't remember who:o
If the till takes it who are jobs worths too question it...

If you pay by points, you don't earn any back.

It is on instore but if you want to pay with points you won't get any points anyway

I decided to spend some well earned points today at the picadilly circus store. Thought I'd look out for all the bargains (had already done the S&G heel miracle with 400points but ACM wouldn't give me another voucher ).

Picked up some items upstairs and then meandered downstairs. Even asked where the clearance shelf was and a kindly SA said they should have one around 27th/28th when they need to get rid of a lot of stuff.
Taking the advice of fellow bootsers I go to pay but state straightaway I'd like to pay with points.

I tried the voucher with the Wisdom Individual toothbrush which was already reduced to 99p from £1.99 but SA pointed out it wasn't the right toothbrush and then wanted to charge me £1.99 (first blip on the till).

Second blip came from the H&B mag when you pay fully by points. So as she was gonna have to take it off and put as a separate transaction I said I'd go over and check the toothbrush price and it was definitely 99p. When I came back she wouldn't accept this. So I asked if she could call someone like a manager and she said no and that I should go upstairs and ask for one! :eek:
At this point I saw on the receipt I had brought two Boots cucumber eye gel (which are BOGOF) but had been charged for both. So I pointed this out and got told I could also discuss this with a manager upstairs. So I asked again if she could not call someone - round and round in circles we went. So off upstairs I went to queue again.:mad:

The next SA got a senior SA for me who took me to another till and then other customers followed me to get served! It took quite some time to explain again that the eye gels (as everything in the boots cucumber range) were BOGOF. He then refunded both the eye gels and after I asked again for them to be BOGOF he did a manual over-ride. He wanted to return the toothbrush to me with points. I said I wanted it at 99p as it was advertised at.

Eventually I got out intact and the only bonus was the toothbrush was sold at half price to me for 49 points.:T

I go to the leeds one all the time but haven't dared get a mf box yet, even when buying other stuff, some of the sa are right dragons but some are really nice.
Haven't dared try the free box since i tried an old gift in mhall ages ago and the lady looked at me like i was stealing and wouldn't let me have it.
For those whos s+g vouchers have disappeared i have only been able to print 3. That is 3 off my card, my spare and 3 off my mums. Never lets me print more than that though. But they were still there on my mums card this am before i printed them so they haven't totally dissapeared.
