    Hi!

A much calmer day for me today. :D I went on a course which was really interesting and will be useful in school...and I wasn't kicked once! :rotfl:
It was so relaxing, sitting there listening to someone else talk, drinking tons of coffee and tea, eating a lovely buffet lunch, getting some free resources for school and a free pen for me! :j

I though I'd have some 'me' time on here before I collect the girls from my friend's, as it'll be a battle to get back on here until they're in bed.
DH has yet another Parent's Evening to do and will be home much later. Brownies has finished for the Easter hols so we don't need to go out again tonight. I think I'll make a nice ham spag bol for tea as usually on a Thursday I don't have time to make anything from scratch and we end up having pasta or something from the freezer.
Sounds like the mini-meet was fun and can't wait to see the photos.
    Have a good evening!

I think you need to think this operation thing through - you are going to lie in bed and be waited on hand and foot. All your food will be prepared for you (not up to your standards of course), and you are going to have the perfect excuse to just lie back and read, do puzzles and listen to the radio ;) .

I had a major op about 20 years ago, and everything was fine. I'm sure there are lots of people on here who have had positive experiences, and I'm sure your doctor will discuss any concerns you may have.

Only problem is, you won't be able to chat to us every day, but we'll all still be here when you get back

Please try not to worry x

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Afternoon all,

Hope you all have had a good day so far. All who went on the meet sounds like you all enjoyed it. Wish I could have gone but its way to far for me. Looking forward to the pictures:D

Moliere, can you post a piccie of your bits you are making when you finish? Love to see what other people have made.

I'd be quite happy to contribute a knitted or quilting square if one is organised for charity.

I managed to get two washloads done, some got dry outside before the rain came and is now finishing off on the radiators. BM is on at the moment. I didn't get a chance to go out on my bike, had to sort out the fish tanks. We no longer have the tropical tank as it was a bit of a waste heating and lighting it for the four small fish that were left in there and so donated them to the fish shop and the goldfish have now moved from a one foot tank to a three foot tank - they are much happier:D Rearranged the living room now that we are down to one tank and so I've been v busy.

Dinner tonight is stir fry veg and rice. Looking forward to tomorrow going to Ikea with a friend already been on the website, written my shopping list and so know exactly what i want from there, just hope they have it all in stock:D

Off to sort out the boys, it sound like they are having a cushion fight in the living room. feathers everywhere:rolleyes:

Have a great evening and I'll be back later to see them pics:rotfl:

I'm off to W.I. in an hour. Hubby cooked tea, so that was nice.

Glad the mini meet went well, anyone fancy a meet in Reading, I promise not to bring Katy.
    Have a good evening.

Evening, just a quick post from me.
I did try to post at 7.30 this morning and my lappie decided to turn itself off and re-start...so lost that post.
Glad the meet went well, I'm sure Nelski was only window shopping

I'm busy shovelling tea down my neck, whilst waiting for the sausages to cook for OH and Miss Twit.
Off to the theatre tonight for me, I'm going to see Sleuth with my golfing chums, it should be good.
Really, I should leave the house at 7pm, but the item I'm interested in on ebay finishes at 7.07. ....Grrrrrr.... and i'm meant to showering and washing my hair before I go....arghhhh....

Catch up with you all later.
    Hugs to everyone :grouphug:
