Morning all
I am feeling rotten this morning-I've been trying to stave off a bug that OH had the other week and the kids I teach have been suffering from (at least 2 from every class I teach have been off... it's going round like anything) but it has finally taken over. Sore throat, swollen glands (throat and armpits), lost voice, popping ears, headache, weak all over and Fibro worse... that's me! I am wanting to go to the Drs but at the same time all I want to do is sleep! So I think I'll go tomorrow as I know I won't be feeling much better tomorrow.
Just ordered my last online shop of the month and shall be going back to bed soon.
Have a good day and hugs to those who need/want.

Morning all, haven't managed to get to the computer earlyish for a few days... what with work and abortive trip to Brum Mon/Tues/Wed covered.
Client arriving for nails soon, so mustn't be long.
Envy you all meeting up today. I have parents' evening for dd early evening. Not like we don't know what they will say. She has some good grades in the bag already for her AS and A Levels, also excellent predicted grades, so it all seems a waste of time. Then I have to take her for a bit to eat, as cello lesson is on the way home. She's muttering about a vegetarian restaurant near school, but don't really know if we'll have a lot of time. Still! Better than McD's!
DS and DH programmed to eat up remaining leftovers of roast lamb and fried pots, with the addition of Baked beans.
I have a load to do, as we have visitors this weekend. haven't a clue what to cook really.
Hope you are all OK, have a good day everyone."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning All
A quick flick through the daily.
Yes looking forward to the meet! But have to be back home for DD coming out of school. Plus we have another family therapy session at 4pm.
Waiting for my new upgrade mobile phone to be delivered this morning, but I might send it back, as I have since found a better phone/deal elsewhere. I have a 7day cooling off period to send it back & cancel!
Still looking for home BB though, and move away from BT! But not a clue where to start looking!
Fish & oven chips for dinner later.
Right, off to do the school run, bye for now

Please explain.
I hope all you with the flu get over it soon. I had one that lingered on for nearly 2 weeks. I think I'll get a flu shot this year. There's some really nasty ones going around atm.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Dlb... Can you try and get a picture of Penny that is less gormless than the last one.

Pink... Thankyou for my mincer. :j :T :A OH thinks you're even madder than me.:p
Just a quickie. Kitchen is still bombed from easter bonnet making last night and may as well stay that way as tonight it is the joy of easter egg model making. I feellike I'm haemoraging money and time to the school this week. Yesterday dtwin1 came home and said she owes £6 for a book for the book fair. Dtwin 2 is away in today with £5 for it. They need to pay a pound each to wear something yellow tommorrow for charity and the Spring fair is on Saturday which usually costs a fair bit (no pun intended)
On top of that I have been helping them make stuff at home for 2 nights, am helping out in the school later on and tommorrow. Plus I have to bake something for the fair on Saturday.Aargh!!!
Beter run.

Morning
Ref the budget: What I don't understand is the banning of single use carrier bags - that is a p1$$ in the ocean in terms of cutting our carbon emissions. What really needs to happen is greater investment in renewable energy (that ISN'T nuclear). I also think the Governments target for cutting carbon emissions by 80% is about 30 years too late (2050).
Well, a job has just become available at OHs work which he will find out about for me. What it is is looking at what work needs to be done, and organising the engineers to do it - so along the same lines of my old job.
Off to work in a minute - have to leave early as apparently South West Water have completely blocked our access off, so we can't actually get out of the lane.
Hope you have a good time at the meet, and the rest of you have a great dayWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Morning Guys!
Had a couple of rough days and hospital visits, so havent been on here much.
WM is on and DW has been emptied. Cleaners are here atm so nothing to do there. Have all the bedding to wash through but shouldnt be more than a couple of loads.
I have an assessment with Social Services on Monday and I expect they are going to be dropping my hours. There has been a lot of press in our local papers about cuts in our borough, so not looking forward to it!
Anyway, cant stop long as Im not feeling to great. So take care everyone.
Hugs
