Morning guys :j
Thanks for the hugs and messages yesterday for my Uncle its much appreciated.
Trying not to think about it too much, til we hear more about it and see what can be done.
Yesterday I got a bit of baking and cooking done as I spent the afternoon in waiting for the washing machine engineer to come, and typically as soon as he turned it on it was working again  he still installed a new module in it (whatever that is) just incase the problem reoccurs.
Also had my new kitchen gadget delivered yesterday from Ebay........JML nicer dicer :rotfl: Seen them advertised on the shopping channels for a while now, but wasn't prepared to pay £29.99 for one  managed to get on ebay for £12 which was more reasonable, but wonder how long it will be before its chucked in a cupboard and forgotten about lol
Today i've gotta pick youngest DS from nursery at 11.15, then over to mums for lunch, then do a couple of hrs cleaning for her. Then going to pop over to Tesco Extra, have a coupon for bonus points on a console game, so think its time to treat myself to a new WII game.
Dinner tonight is spag bol.
Those going to the meet, hope you have a great time. I've been to quite a few internet meets through different websites and have always had a great time, it's brill meeting new peeps!!
Time for my shower, hugs to all,

Just called back in while I drink my coffee - I've been so busy (see my halo shining?) that I haven't had a drink since about 6.30. I'm gasping for one!
Hope I'm not too late to wish everyone going to the meet a fantastic time and please don't forget the pics!!
I also want to send massive (((hugs))) to all those who have gone down with the flu and other ailments. I was really hoping the the 'bug' season' had disappeared. Touch wood, nothing here yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Well, I'm just off to put some slap on my face before I go out. I have to go into the village-of-many-charity-shops
this morning - the real reason is to go to the printers to price up ID cards for DH but the charity shops will not be ignored! After that, I shall visit the gym and then come back and try and get some knitting done.
See you all.

Morning all, a beautiful sunny day here this morning, the birdies are tweeting and the cat is chattering at them through the window.
Not much news from Flitter Towers, last night's fish pie was a triumph if I say so myself
, even OH ate it without complaining and fishing (sorry) for bones - as I'd spent the best part of twenty minutes examining every single flake I knew there weren't any in it
Nice peaceful day planned here today (wonder how long that will last). Going to do a bit of sewing this morning and then I have an appointment this afternoon so will be out and about. Chicken casserole for dinner although only OH and I will benefit, DD has to be out again tonight, poor kid is absolutely shattered but that's teaching for you I suppose.
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy the meet! and special hugs to Smokey and anyone else in need.

Well busy morning here. have the house to tidy and the cleaning to get on with. I got rather ingrossed in my book this morning. DH was up earlier than normal so I thought I would have a few minutes reading the next chapter and all of a sudden its an hour later and I'm half way through the book!
also just had a call for a local paper that want to do a story and picture on our BT problems. Not really very sure about it all.......all of a sudden i feel very shy.
got to work this afternoon and must come home via shops to pick up bread and milk and potatoes.
bye for now - those at the mini-meet have a fabulous time
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Morning everybody,
Isn't is very quiet this morning..maybe the wind is getting to people and they are staying in bed to avoid it!
Hugs to all who are in need or want
Feeling good this morning, have to take DD2 to open an account for DGD3 and then expecting a visit from OH's niece and her one year old. Have already taken up a pair of trousers which I have been wearing too long so proud of myself.
Cutting things too fine as usual...have 10 mins to shower and get out the door!
Back later, enjoy the mini meet
