IWantToBeFree - Yep, she wants to wait for my next batch of listings in a month! I've emailed her dropping subtle hints, and invoiced her - But I'm too much of a wuss to come out and tell her to pay... I'm a push-over!

As for the gallery, I always use it, although it's a bit pricey. I didn't to starrt with and I had very few sales. From a shopping point of view (more shopping than selling!) I like a little picture to know whether or not to bother clicking into the listing.

Want me to do it for you ;)

I have 24 items ending today, they currently stand at around £40, hoping that will at least double as I could do with some cash to buy my save the date wedding invites!

Buying to resell can be difficult you really need to find a niche market that you can tap into rather than going inot direct competition with established users and just force down prices.

Don't forget as well that once you buy to resell you must register with HMRC and complete annual returns showing your net profit. You will also need to convert your personal selling account on ebay to a business one.

Sold 16 items tonight, final total was £97.79.

Very happy with that, will more than cover what I need for my Save The Date magnets & the postage to send them out.

I know you have to register if you're making a certain amount (£4K?), but if you're doing it on a small scale it should be ok. eg, if I find a few things in a bootsale I'll resell them online, but I wouldn't buy wholesale goods - As long as you can define yourself as a private seller you should be ok.
