Another packaging tip...I always use black bin liners to wrap clothes - waterproof and cheap! Had no complaints about it.
I have a bag of stuff I found in my cupboard to put on ebay tonight and tomorrow. Am going on my hols on Saturday though, so will have to put it on a 10 day listing and deal with it when I get back.
Have added my funds from paypal to my total, even though I sold those things before starting the challenge. It' a bit more hopeful to have some money there instead of zeros!!Total Debt: £0 [STRIKE]£33,043[/STRIKE]

Thought yep, this is a challenge I need to do. Our debt as you can see from our signature is £5,000, but I did think that was a little bit high, so put me down for £500 (then I will see if we have any possessions left). Already listed last night and today and got £5.05 of bids already:j .:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j

bin liners - great idea - thanks for that - they are perfect for clothes and bags which i have struggled to fit into a normal sized envelope!:dance:shake that money maker

I use the mailer bags from catalogues for sending clothes and awkward shaped items. I normally bubble wrap everything and then put them in the mailer bag. I have had items posted to me in bin bags before and have found they do get ripped in the post, luckily the items were not damaged, but if you do use bin bags go for the thicker ones.
I've just given my 6 year old son a £5 note. I sold a new Dora Scrabble game for him which he got for Christmas. He didn't want it as, in his own words, "that's for baby girls and I'm a boy!" He was very pleased with this amount, but his 5 year old sister turned round AFTER it had sold and said "he should have given it to me" :rotfl: Maybe, but I think he's old enough to learn the value of things and what's important to him. Anyway they have a scrabble game that their older brother had and way too many toys as it is. Ooh, may go and raid their toy boxes while they're in bed, mwah!!!Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £149.19 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

Hi guys can i join in, i have been selling bits on ebay for me and my kiddies to go to centreparcs and i have that money now i just need spending money, we've been through a rough time recently and need some quality time together. Then whatever is left after that will be going towards my debts, i reckon i need £200 for centreparcs and £1400 for my debts so £1600 in total.
I've been lagging recently and playing games or doing nothing but sit in front of telly in evenings but i have a whole load of stuff sitting waitin in my dining room, silly me! Hoping this will give me the motivation! xxx0 -

Must stop checking ebay AARRRGGGHHH. I just cannot stop myself from having a quick shifty (like every 10 minutes). Got 8 items listed, 3 selling, and bids up to £21.60 (thats 0.5% of our debt:rotfl: ), and 14 people watching one item, now that could be good at the end. Am off to rummage now to find things to list.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j
