Hi All,
What a fab idea - it's that mad it might actually work!! Just spent the last 3 days reading the whole thread and I'm def. joining in. Please put me down for £777 (smallest credit card) although my camera is currently being repaired so won't be able to start for a few days.
I have printed out a grid to put on the fridge with all the numbers from 1 - 777 as someone else suggested, so that I can cross off as I go (I'm like a child - need visual motivation!)
I can't wait to start - good luck everyone!

Hi all,
I sold another 2 things on ebay, brings my total up by a tenner....need to find some more things!!0 -
Just wanted to say..good luck, and thank you for the motivation!
I had a bit of an ebay thing a year or so back so dont have much left to sell (no money to buy junk means that when you want to sell junk...you dont have any!) ..... am going to attempt this challenge tho - will go for a target of £250 as this is the minimum value of overpayment I am allowed on my mortgage!! Desperately trying to shrink it before my 2 year fixed is up in a years time... *sigh*
Oh - and a random q - how do I do a signature? Sorry if I should have found out elsewhere, just that this is my first post, and I got that excited about the challenge I forgot to check first! Doh..
Anyway, for now..

Just seen this, can I join please? Have ebayed a lot of stuff, but I'm sure I can find some more. I'll be including play.com sales as well as I have more books than anything else.
Please put me down for £500 - that should make a dent in my overdraft. Will keep everything in my savings account until I get to that figure. I know the interest from o/d will be more than I can save, but then I feel like I'm getting somewhere.Total Debt: £0 [STRIKE]£33,043[/STRIKE]

Hi everyone glad to see that so many people are doing so well.
I am quite chuffed with myself having made around £80 in the last week on ebay just getting rid of lots of bits and pieces.
Even managed to get a load of stuff from my parents which I have now sold (its amazing how much stuff my mum buys, i think my dad was shocked)
Anyway just to pass on something I found today, as i am new to moneysaving I am still excited by this but I took my first trip to Poundland today as I had run out of recyclable packaging that i could use to send my ebay items. I managed to buy packs of padded envelopes, bubble wrap...yup for a pound a piece. So if you are running out of packing at home that you can use, I think it might be worth getting some bits from there.
:dance:shake that money maker
