People have mentioned leaving money in paypal until you have £50. Is there a reason for this? eg do you pay less fees?

If you withdraw money from paypal for £49.99 or under you get charged a small fee (it's 25p), whereas if it's £50 or over you don't.

My first 4 items have sold for a total of £37.70. I'll add it to my signature once they're posted and I know what the actual profit was. I really hope I guessed the postage right, I was too impatient to actually weigh anything.

I've got two more items listed, no bids but one watcher. Must find some more things to list.... I'll never make it to £1k at this rate.

    Right!!
You're all doing so well and I'm lagging behind. So I'm going to sort through those boxes which are lurking under the spare bed and see what I can find. I know there's a Beswick horse with a broken leg - it must be worth a few quid.

No i sold a pair of designer sunglasses for £70 a designer bag for £48 obviously that helped. A lot of the kids clothes were designer (my sister earns ridiculas money has no kids or debts and spends a fortune on them).
i'm on 'normal' kids clothes now next adams etc. I've done quiet a few bundles which have sold really well.

I've got triplets at 18 months and DD at 4 so as you can imagine we have loads of clothes. All the tiplets summer clothes from last year are flying. Got another 8 bundles to list on thursday.

Had a poke in the loft (i never ever go in there just send DH up wih stuff) I've got 3 bouncy chairs, 3 moses baskets 9 baby sleep grobags. Can't decide weather to list these o ebay or just do a carboot.

Got a triple buggy too that a local child minder is interesed in buying, not sure what to ask for it though.

I think back now and why on earth we bought 3 of everything i will never kow. if only i knew then what i know now :rotfl: how many people say that!!!
Proud to be dealing with my debts through cccs
#3 MAD ebay challange aim £500 so far £390.17 :j
  • I am a newbie to the site but seeing all of my debts listed out like everyone has on their signature really brings it home.

The ebay challenge sounds great - I have just started myself and have even been over to my mums as she was throwing lots of bits and pieces out!

    Good luck all!

Welcome to MSE Shakethatmoneymaker - you're in the right place to get lots of support and ideas while you pay off those debts.

Mrs Clecoco, you must be better at laundry than me. When my kids have finished with their clothes they are decidedly manky.
