Do you know what I hate? I mean REALLY hate?
I hate when Natalie Imbruglia sings.....you hear EVERY intake of breath between each line. It drives me nuts. Other singers manage to turn their head or do some other little trick to avoid this but she just beathes!!!!! Was the woman never trained? I can't believe she's never been pulled up about it by her record company - she does it continually! Aaaaarrrghhh!
Relevance to Moneysaving Oldstyle.........saved money by not buying her CD and singing myself instead. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!

two daughters, four hairbrushes and there is never, ever, a brush to be found when we are in a hurry to get out in the morning.
OH who swears that this time it is serious he really has lost his keys and why won't I help him look for them (usually at the same time as I am playing hunt the hairbrush)It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
My pet hate is when I buy a toy for one of my sons and the toy is strapped into the box with hundreds (well perhaps not quite that many) of metal ties that you have to twist and twist to remove the toy.
Also, when u buy a toy and its screwed into a plastic base!! You then have a moaning child for the rest of the shopping trip, as who carries a screwdriver around with them? (or perhaps some of you do!!!!)20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

It just drives me bonkers when you go to out eg to a busy pub or to the theatre and the loos are totally inadequate for all those women. Queues a mile long, paper running out, toilets not filling up fast enough, overflowing sani bins. You'd have thought somebody would have noticed by now that women take longer therefore more facilities are required in places open to the public. TIP: At the theatre, if you're crafty you can go out to a quiet pub during intermission, get served quick, get your drink down ya and use their loo rather than spend the entire intermission queuing up...just needs a bit of research before you go into the theatre.
Oh and the dirty smelly toilets in Sainsbury's and Tesco!! They are always revolting. I know it's really customers who have filthy habits, but the supermarket usually has a prominent sign on the wall along the lines that they pride themselves on cleanliness and that they check the loos every hour. They need to up it to every 15 minutes. And just think, people who don't wash their hands are touching fresh fruit, loose bread/rolls... is revolting really!
There now, feel better. Actually feel great, am a bit pickled having had half a pint of red wine
. Woo hoo off work tomorrow!!!! 0 -
Ok, here is another;
I HATE THAT 'ESURE' ADVERT!!!!!!!!!!
The one about car insurance with that lame old fart playing it, weather its with the one about the mouse, or him dancing in a fairy costume or the one that say 'allo mum!' to the screen!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Hate it. And it absolutley makes me cringe!!!0 -
just recently the LloydsTSB cashpoints have changed so it asks you if you want to top up your mobile phone before it will let you have a balance or, more importantly, some cash out of the machine.
When walk all the way to the cashpoint in the rain, do they really think it's an etop-up that i want?0 -
Why is it that the supermarket continuously has a special offer on the coffee we drink, so I know whenever we run out it is still on offer as has been for 5 weeks now. And then, when I return, having run out..... They have a coffee offer break of 3 days! Arrrghhhh! (Maybe I should just buy tons of it when it's on offer but I rarely have the money). Oh, and why is coffee so expensive?Three years, six months, three weeks, 13 hours, 48 minutes and 30 seconds. 26011 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11,704.80. Life saved: 12 weeks, 6 days, 7 hours, 35 minutes.0
