People gwaping at you when your kids happen to throw a tantrum in a shop and then muters and moans.
It happened today in Woolworths.

2 that reminded me of what I hated yesterday.

The hosepipe kinking in the middle so that the water did'nt come out and I had to go and fix it. Also when it gets trapped under the car wheel, and no amount of pulling will help free it.

Wine manufacturers that weld their labels on to the bottles so that's it's almost impossible to get them off and reuse the bottles for my own wine. Not very green!

Tantrams are one thing, but there are those that I glare at that fight the restraining straps in their push chair and scream the place down. Or the others that throw themselves on the floor repeatedly until they get attention....

I would like manufacturers to make breakfast cereal boxes that are a bit shorter but wider, and will therefore fit in my cupboards with the open end uppermost. I find it a bit irritating that these boxes aren't designed to fit in an ordinary shelf, but instead a super tall shelf. Have a built in fridge so they won't go there - not that I would want stuff hanging around anyway.

Ditto the points about car drivers (aka road hogs), and drivers who don't use their indicaters. Also get v.annoyed about drivers on mobiles - car drivers are bad enough, but seeing bus drivers and lorry drivers yakking makes my blood boil...they are professional drivers, but where is the professionalism in breaking the law and endangering life?

people who dont say thankyou when you hold the door open for them - they take offence too when you say "it okay im stood here for my health" (and bad manners in general)

and cars who need a gap the size of wales before they will pull out, turn right etc, are they waiting for a written invitation????

I always apologise when someone treads on my feet:-

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left them on the floor."

    Another couple of pet hates:
    • Shops that play incredibly loud music - I can't get out fast enough! A bit of background music is good, an ear bashing is not.
    • Those little jars of chilli, curry etc etc powder - the top is almost always too small to get a teaspoon into
    • Communal changing rooms in clothes shops...oh the humiliation of not being able to get a pair of jeans over one's !!!!!! in (almost) public...
    • Being approached in the supermarket and being badgered into purchasing pet insurance or open a credit card. Leave me alone, just wanna do me shoppin' then go home!
    • Being stopped in the street by chuggers, ie those charity bods who want you to sign a direct debit. Even worse, a gang of them showed up in our street recently. I was just getting home from work and one of them followed me to the house, cheeky git! I didn't answer the door, didn't want to listen to the spiel. I give to charity already and think these chuggers are too aggressive and tarnish reputable charities' reputations.
    • Shoes that squeak loudly on tiled or wooden floors, especially somewhere quiet like a church, library, or some museums.
    • Shop assistants who don't have a pen for you to sign your cheque, card slip or whatever.
Gosh I am grumpy! Musta been Victoria Meldrew in a past life.

One of my pet hates (happened TWICE today  ) is waiting patiently at the T-junction because of an on-coming car, only for it to turn in next to you without indicating...........!!!!!!

This situation, when you are waiting at a roundabout and thinking someone is coming across, only for them to turn left without indicating! double

Supermarkets that change the goods around on the shelves, so when you are in a hurry you cannot find what you blooming well want........gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr people putting non cut price items down in the cut price section, they cannot be bothered to put it back where they got it..........long queues at the checkouts when the store says it will open more checkouts if more than two people are waiting..........customer service staff who stand gossiping to their friends when you are waiting to be served... what makes you think I hate supermarkets???????

This is one of my pet hates too! They keep changing the inside packaging but never change the basic shape, surely someone in their design department would have realised by now that the boxes don't fit on a standard shelf.
