Confusing E2save cashback process

Hi

I bought a price match 12 months free line rental for £35 a month on Orange from e2save on 17th Nov 07.

I was connected to Orange on 19th Nov 07 and they sent me my first bill on 22nd Nov 07 (as they take line rental in advance).

Now I've received 4 bills from Orange for Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb, which means I've paid for 4 months of line rental (120 days).

E2save are very misleading here when they say claim 4 months from connection, which means 19th March 08. My online e2save account says I should put my first claim between 16th March and 15th April.

Now should I wait for my 5th bill to come which would be despatched on 22nd March and won't get to me till end of March, leaving 15 days to claim or should I claim now with my 4th bill (and copy of first bill as I ported my previous number)?

Also, if I've to wait for my 5th bill, at the end of my cashback claim, I've to send them my bill 360 days after connection, which means 13th month for orange to charge me. This by no means is a 12 months free line rental contract as I would have to pay for 12 + 1 months in the end to get my final £84 cashback instalment(on £35 a month contract).

Could someone please clarify? Thanks in advance..

You pay for your line rental in advance and calls made in arrears.

So a 12 month contract has 13 bills.

I know that line rental is paid in advance... But a 12 month contract has 12 bills, not 13.

I've had a 12 month free contract before from TMO where I was connected for 12 months only, had 12 bills and all cashback paid..

Anyway, could you please guide when to make the first claim?

Oh NO - not ANOTHER thread on E2Save!

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=558661&page=1

Should have done a LOT more research before even considering your deal. Try post number 5 and ALL the other threads on this company rather than starting yet another! I would add that you are WRONG; there ARE 13 bills. All you have to do is phone the network and ask them!

Sorry to have started another thread. If you could point me to the thread/ link that could tell me whether I need to send bill number 4 or 5 for my first claim, that would be great!

Regarding phoning the network (I suppose you mean E2save as Orange don't have anything to do with cashback), I've been on hold on 0871 number twice for more than 30 minutes...

If any users have claimed from e2save before, could they please enlighten others?

The network send the bills don't they?

It is the bills you asked for help on:
I've to send them my bill 360 days after connection, which means 13th month for orange to charge me.

Why bother asking for help here then argue you knew the answer all along?

Asking your network is by far the best thing for you to do. And the network operator you speak to will be getting paid for telling you.

    Oh dear

I did not ask for help on bills, I asked for help on cashback!

Network does send the bills but does it pay the cashback?

Can you ask phone orange and find out how to claim cashback from E2save?? doh!

As I am writing this post, I am on the phone listening to classical music and waiting for E2save customer services to come and answer my query.

I will let the forum know once I find out how E2save work (not Orange).
    Thanks for your help!

If you searched (easy) on here and found the various threads on E2Save all your questions would be answered as they have been many times before - with a little time and effort!

Waste of time phoning E2Save (as I have written a thousand times on here). If I had meant E2Save I would have written that. Networks supply the bills YOU need to claim from E2save. Quentin has answered one of your questions, as have I. Some of your other ambiguities will be answered on my guide - if you have at least read through that!

Also no need to report what they say - it is often quite wrong and misleading and (in any case) has been reported many times before on the relevant threads. Of course, if you are partial to classical music or enjoy donating funds to E2Save you can always spend a few hours calling them. Besides, sometimes they do give correct information; the trick is knowing if it is correct and/or being able to prove they said it!

    AND:
    Thanks for your help!

So what did you mean by "could someone please clarify?"

And which of your "Thanks" did you really and sincerely mean?

You are right it would be hard to prove what they said if they are going to pull a fast one but I am sure this sort of practice won't last long if E2save are resorting to these.. Your guide is brilliant but its too late for me as I took the contract before reading it.

Anyway, i could not find on other threads what I was looking for and what E2save tell me on the phone is that I've to wait 120 days and stay connected before I claim. Even though I've paid the line rental for 120 days, I would still need to wait and then send the most recent bill after being connected for 120 days, which is 5th in my case..

After contacting orange, they inform me that if I let them know after 11 months in contract that I wish to terminate my contract, I would be disconnected within 12 months. However a 13th bill would be generated if I owe them any money which they would charge if I've gone outside my monthly allowance for the 12th month. The trouble is that I would need this bill to show E2save that I've been connected for 360 days!

Quentin, I sincerely mean thanks for both parts and all your posts.. For me, you are trying to help without any obligation or interest and that warrants enough gratitude to express my thanks..
