Big problems in printing wirelessly from my laptop

    Make the XP with the printer on have a static IP.

    Or when it gets turned off it could get another IP and the other computers will not see the printer as they will be looking for the wrong IP address.

    One way around it could be to assign names to the computer IP's and use names to reference the IP.

    I think they all do have static IPs - I get the same figures when I do ipconfig, anyway.

    All seems to be working now, thanks to all you lovely techie MSE people. It's going to make my life an awful lot easier, as I work from home.

    In fact, I'm printing things just for the hell of it! :p
