  • EUR/GBP: Much Firmer on Dovish BoE Inflation Report

[10:45 EUR/GBP: Much Firmer on Dovish BoE Inflation Report] London, February 11. EUR/GBP has leapt to highs just shy of 0.9000 (1.1111) since the 10:30GMT publication of a dovish quarterly BoE Inflation Report (<TGM42331>), having tumbled to a European morning low three pips shy of 0.8899 (1.124) (yesterday"s high) pre-release(http://www.bankofengland.co.uk/publications/inflationreport/irlatest.htm).

Supply from a supra-national entity, possibly on behalf of a Middle Eastern
sovereign, had helped to cap EUR/GBP at a one-week peak of 0.9013 ahead of the 09:30GMT disclosure that UK claimant count unemployment rose by a below forecast 73k last month.

urgent [ going to town later for euro if needed]

can anyone help me , sort of relevent to above!

    i have a nationwide flex

so am i better to pay for everything i can on this ? [ ie do i get a better deal]?

    thanks

Your better off using the NW card wherever you can as their ER will be better than the so called 'commission free' rates for currency exchange. As regards getting cash on it that's more difficult to best guess. I'd get enough over here to get me by, if it were me.

If you're payimg with a UK card abroad never accept the 'sterling' billing option where it's offered. The ER would be beyond your worst nightmare!
