How come? More bad news on the way for Eurozone? When are the next UK figures due to come out?
it has that look about it
been some bad german and spanish numbers out recently
i still think people are not factoring in how bad euroland is, and just looking at how bad UK is
we are all as bad as each other !
there is a shed load of UK numbers out at 9.30 tom mng
Industrial output, Manufacturing output, PPI
also some France figures out at 7.45
and Germany at 11.00Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Hello everyone,
I go away in late May and need to top up my card with about 1100 euros and was wondering when you lot think a good time to buy would be?
I know it's a long way off but like many I do think the pound has been hit hard of late and what we are seeing are some good signs of recovery against the euro.
I got 1.26 last year so could we reach that agian? It's far better to be penny wise than pound foolish.

don't look at the price at all between now and mid May

The euro seems to be doing very well considering the european economies are doing pretty much as badly as everyone else. Will the currency markets get to realise this soon with the pound regaining on the euro shortly? It's not so long ago the euro/pound was around 1.45. Maybe it's not likely to reach that in the short term, but 1.25? 1.30?0

this is exactly my point!!
everyone has been concentrating on how bad UK economy is, and consequently the Pound has suffered agsinst the Euro and US Dollar.
now people are waking up and realising that EuroLand is just as bad, if not worse, and (in my opinion) this is why we are seeing a recovery for the Pound.
My thoughts only, but I believe the EUR/GBP rate is going to creep into the 1.20's over the coming weeks
(it also looks like its heading for 1.50 against the US Dollar, possibly as soon as this week)Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
