    Contact a currency broker such as Hifx or Crown currency exchange and they give you a spot rate which you agree to or not then you have to complete on the transaction within a couple of days.
  • Thanks guys but have checked all 3 and the Lloyds TSB is offering the best rate at 1.13.... the others are 1.14 - 1.15....

    Is this really the best rate??

  • I won't be here tomorrow, but look out for some important PMI figures from Italy, France & Germany and the EuroZone in general between 8.45 and 9.00am

    and UK at 9.30am

  • looking slightly better for the Pound v the euro lately

    looking to stumble over the 1.13 level in the markets
    shocking Industrial Orders figures out of Germany earlier today
    waiting for BOE announcement at 12.00 and ECB at 12.45 today

    The latest charts I've seen suggest an 88 - 97 pence range as the new level.

    Don't expect the Euro to get back down into the former 7x pence territory any time soon;)

    aah right, i'm guessing you mean Seventy Pence level - understood now sorry!

    well, sure thats a bit much to hope for, but i can certainly see low to mid 80pence level very soon...

    sitting nicely at 1.1365 at mom (or 0.88 - whichever way you like to look at it !! - so hovering around the 0.8804 support level
