[07:15 EUR/GBP: Pound Gains But Sterling Outlook Remain Jittery] London, July 20.
Sterling has managed to reclaim some ground against the Euro into the new week, with GBP gains extending into the European return on the overnight positive
Rightmove news (+0.6% on the month). EUR/GBP has fallen to a 0.8612 low, with the bids into the figure in focus as the Pound looks to outpace its European counterpart. However, some dealers do note the negative connotations of the ITEM Club comments that Swine flu could hit UK GDP by up to 7%.
German PPI fell more than expected, with UK data now in the pipeline. UK June M4 data and CML Gross Mortgage Lending data is scheduled for release at 08:30
GMT.
Should the cross manage to fill the demand into the figure then a drop into the .85s will see stops trigger. This could fuel potential for a retracement back towards the double daily lows at .8553 (from July 14th & 15th). However, decent bids are seen in the 80s & 70s that should stall the descent in the short-term.
On the topside, offers intensify above the 10-HME line in the .8630s, with
.8650/60 looking to cap the topside. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

I appreciate the effort that goes into updating these figures daily, but what relevance do they have to what rate you can get on the high street or internet when buying euros? Am I missing something as those rates are always much lower so would it be better to have a thread with actual exchange rates.0
